There actually is a restaurant open in Rogers Place that will deliver to our section of the arena — including takeaway booze. I haven't used that, but I have had some adult beverages delivered to my hotel from other restaurants, along with my meals.

They've kept us pretty well hydrated at the arena with bottled water, Pepsi products, and coffee to help keep warm, along with fruit and bagels.

I've been laying pretty low. Trying to keep my circle tight, as they say, which has also given me more time for rest, research and writing.

I was worn out at the end of my first visit, which was 17 days and 23 games.

Feel much fresher this time, despite more overtimes and lots more writing during what is now a longer stay. Tonight will be Game 12 since my return, on Day 18.

Pitchers of margaritas, hotdogs with jalapeno peppers & sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo all delivered to the press suite.
The pace the second time round seems more reasonable, gives you time to enjoy your job and the well earned perks.
It must be fun hearing things some people would otherwise wish you didn't hear in the cavernous arena. Have a blast the rest of the time there!

As a personal rule I don't trust anyone named Squire. He'll definitely get more money elsewhere if he wants it. But 7 mil is steep.
