Every player wants to be an important part of the team

I didn't say it was selfish
but it sure as hell wasn't reassuring with 1 year left on his contract

ohh come on, I think you're strongly suggesting it lol... and it's fine, I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if they're wrong...

Go fawk yourself 😛

And ok, maybe I do think it was a little selfish... but I don't blame him for wanting more... but was it in the best interest of the team to voice his concerns to the media?

And speaking of being wrong, you still believe Danault is better than Plekanec was?

touché...

again, Danault was asked questions and he answered them, I don't see it as "voicing his concerns" and putting everything into question... not saying your interpretation is wrong, I just don't see it that way lol

Mine? I see...

...I guess it's along the same lines as Domi being a selfish cry baby for saying nothing at all but Danault is a warrior and a pioneer for speaking his mind!

Remember, this whole time I've said that either way, the Habs will be better when one is gone, I prefer Domi, that's all... won't care that much if he's the one to go, as long as the return is sufficient, Habs win!

Think the Habs should sign Robert Stevenson to a 1 year/1.5 million dollar contract?

ok, a lot of people here post their opinions and try to convince everyone, it's not just you I'll give you that

and yeah "Danault the pious warrior" and "Domi the crybaby" are easy conclusions to go to and are most likely simplistic exaggerations from fans

Really?

And is it any better than signing Kovalchuk to a 1 year deal?

I don't know... I was asking! I wouldn't run out and offer the keys to the vault to Ryan but if Bergy can't find a winger at the price he likes? A 1 year stop gap to see what he can do?

And yes, that's his birth name, he and his mom later changed it for reasons that were well documented already

No it didn’t there was a lot of chatter for weeks...the draft came and went and then bang! There was also the famous declaration: I’m not shopping PK Subban. And a couple of days later (4 to be exact) gone he was.

Haven't been that happy since the early 90's.

Also, I'm pretty sure Domi is not Danault's biggest fear, it's KK and/or Suzuki that will seed him into his proper 3rd line duties (that's pretty much inevitable).

So having said what he said, I sure hope Bergeron chooses wisely whom he trades.

That is all..
