So no Hall, Ryan or Laine said Bergy.

Haven't been that happy since the early 90's.

Also, I'm pretty sure Domi is not Danault's biggest fear, it's KK and/or Suzuki that will seed him into his proper 3rd line duties (that's pretty much inevitable).

So having said what he said, I sure hope Bergeron chooses wisely whom he trades.

That is all..

Regardless of who goes and who stays it's a nice problem to have (too many C's). Quite a change from a few years back.

Danault, Suzuki, and KK.....then Evans on the fourth line. Don't tell me you are putting Domi on the fourth line......the sulking would be worse than Drouin's when he is not scoring.
- Frozendisc

You underestimate Domi or overestimate the others.
He should be 2nd line.

And who the heck is KK?

Danault wants to keep being an important part of this team, that's what I personally read into it. of course he needs to consider his negotiations and individual aspirations, as any player should, but I didn't interpret it necessarily as a selfish statement...
- Pat1993

I did not see it as selfish either.

I saw it as him not wanting to be solely a defensive player because he feels he can help the team offensively as well as defensively.

It doesn't leave much room for Poehling unless they convert him into a winger.

Le Poehling start in the AHL, if he performs well enough to make us believe he could fill a 3rd line role in the NHL, it might give Bergevin (not Bergeron Pete ffs) what he needs to handle his assets to maximum potential.

It's a GREAT problem to have for sure.

Guy was a first round pick and put up 53 points two season ago, I would dissapointed in him otherwise

I think he sees himself as the next Bergeron - I guess we all need stretch goals.

Reality is that Suzuki is a more likely candidate to be at that level of play (eventually), if he can win face-offs more consistently.

not sure what Suzuki's ceiling is, but it does seem to be rather high so far
