Kinda reminds me of a scene in Nightmare on Elm Street (3 I think?) when Freddie orders a Pizza with extra kids on it and on the pizza are the faces of all the teens he’s killed

ohh yeah that is kinda creepy... I should re-watch the first movies, it's been a while (and no I haven't watched the Goonies yet haha)

Not much a thank you? Drou is a year younger and their stats aren’t that different plus Mantha is an RFA with arbitration rights, if the Habs can’t sign him they might end up having him for a year and losing him whereas Drouin is signed for a reasonable cap hit for 3 years.

How about a Schwartz's smoke meat sandwich and a poutine.
I could throw in our zamboni driver.

That is an emphatic hell no from me then. Mantha is the better player.

I was kidding, but Karine does have a point though... and Drouin is a really good player when he's on, he's just so god damn inconsistent

Mantha scores at a higher rate and the on ice impacts are night and day.

By the same theory you could lock up Mantha and DET only gets 3 years of Drouin.

I lived in Tampa for 11 years I am very familiar with Drouin. He just isn't worth Mantha.

If Drouin has Gallagher's drive and determination alot of our problems are solved

TBH I’m not quite ready to dive up on Drouin, he looked good with Suzuki in the playoffs, he was consistenly good prior to the injury last season so perhaps he has turned a corner.

and ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH 2-0 Tampa... so who gets the Conn Smythe? I think Point... he’s been huge in the final

Fair enough. I like him too so was curious of what you guys would want.

And it's gotta be Point imo. Him missing against NYI was noticeable.

yeah I hope you're right, if he does turn it around it's one less problem to solve or get rid of

Futures but probably not one's you guys would want to give up.

I like Mantha as a 30-30-60 guy if he can stay healthy and he's still relatively young. Not sure what top prospects/picks you would be willing to move.

I wanted a game 7 in 2015 because I had the hookup on tickets. So disappointed that didn't happen.

well Drouin isn't light-years away from Mantha either, so yeah if you're talking top prospects it would probably feel too high of a price

Hedman has been a beast. Wanna know how good he has been? He has made bogosian, Schenn and Ruutta useful.

He has been but less so in the final... as you say though that is no small task and he does have what ? 10 goals? Quite near the record for a d-man, definitely would be a good choice
