PK will end up a Kraken one way or another. The Devils will make a deal with them to eat his contract along with a future pick to protect the rest of their young roster in the expansion draft. That could also be the play why The Wings may make a deal for him as well. He will not finish his current contract wearing a Devils sweater |

Detroit leveraging their cap space to bargain with NJ, is like a Sahara Desert sand farmer looking to leverage his copious inventory to gain a favorable bargaining position over a rival Kalahari Desert sand farmer. |

No way on queenie, absolutely not.... Wait it is 2020 still no
On Subban I would see how he performs this year and either deal him if he rebounds at trade deadline or hang him out for the Kraken!!!

I know I feel very fortunate to be privy to this kind of inside information that seems to push the boundaries of the CBA. This must all be very exciting for you; all of us really. - Aetherial
Hopefully the NHL offices don't read this and learn about Pietrangelo wanting to go to Toronto or Vegas. Could be tampering. Any source that shares this could also get into trouble. |

Rangers now with almost 13M$ in dead cap space for 20-21. Also, still paying Brad Richards for 6 more seasons. |

for the leafs i would move nylander and johnsson both, sign petey at 9 mil if possible..
that leaves them enough money not to have to go league minimum on backup g, 4th line and 3rd line wingers.
moving johnsson and kerfoot would give us space but... we would be (frank)ed |

Funny, especially when more Flyers fans live in South Jersey than in all of PA |

Yes, you're right. Isn't it terrible? We are on the hook to pay Richards a whopping $0.00 per year for 6 more years.
Good scoop, Ace.
Yes, this seasons dead cap hit is atrocious, I agree. I was not in favour of another buyout. But, it did make sense from a business standpoint. They have enough space to eat that $13M, it seems. Then next year we are golden. And should be on a nice upward trajectory at the same time. Fingers crossed.
Complete rebuild in ~3 years. Quite fortunate. |

Well, they are still paying him real money every year. |

Rivalry aside.... How does it make any logical sense for Henrik to be a backup in Jersey? If NJ was a cup favorite sure I could maybe see it. As is... It's incredibly unlikely the Devils even make the post season next year let alone be a threat.
Ek... Attempt to explain for once your illogical nonsense. |

Since Ek says there will be double headers next year...why can't Hank pitch the second games? He has a real nasty ball which gets him alot of strikeouts. |
