About 3-4 years ago could have done RNH or Hall for Risto - NEDinED
And in 1986 I was visiting my sister in Arizona, when she tells me she became friends with Wynona Judd while living out there, and that her sister Ashley Judd was supposed to be coming by for a visit while the Judds and their road crew stayed at my sister's house on the way to Phoenix for a show the next day. Ashley had recently broken up with her boyfriend.
Well Ashley never made it.
I was pretty close to being set up on a blind date with Ashley Judd...which is about as close we ever got to getting Taylor Hall for Rasmus Ristolanus.

The guy is telling the truth, I posted it that the Oilers offered Hall for Risto.

I would have liked to see what Vic could have cooked up with the trifecta of Von, Casey, and Chubb rushing the passer. Along with Shelby Harris on paper that had the looks of a dominant top 7 that unfortunately got derailed by injury.
At this point it’s developing the young guys in Jeudy, Hamler, Fant, Lock (when he comes back). Tim Patrick looks like a viable pass catcher even if he’s a #3.
Even with everyone healthy the best case scenario was being competitive and possibly claiming that last wild card spot, now we are looking at a top 10 pick.
I know the summer that Hall got traded, there was so much talk on Edmonton radio about finding a #1RD. Risto's name got thrown out a lot. I like many sabres fans thought Risto was going to be the real deal.
