Jets like Risto but................... - SABRES 89
Theres certain times when a franchise has "to give" to get. I love risto's game. Top 3 favorite sabres for the past 6 years.
For laine though....
Dahlin should eat up the lost minutes.
Laine would be young core type material.
Olo-eich-Sam
Skins- Stahl- laine
That's game changing.

IMO I would go after Marchessault, he has 4 more years left at 5 mill a year, perfect for us but, it's also perfect for the Knights cap wise . - SABRES 89

Let’s say they strike out on Toffoli and Craig Smith.
I’d definitely do Risto, Mitts, Asplund/Ruotsalinen, and the 2021 first top 3 protected for Laine and Stanley |

I don't know who Stanley is ? I think the 8th would have to be included. Not saying in your offer but you have to give to get and Laine is a huge get. |

You're getting into Toronto territory with the celeries. I think Reino would be part of the Laine trade.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period is hearing that Tyler Toffoli and the Canucks are in a holding pattern for contract negotiations.
Vancouver is reportedly in the hunt for Oliver Ekman-Larsson, among others, and the team is also trying to shed some salary. The line of communication with Toffoli remains open, though, as there is interest from both sides to get a deal done. |

That’s fair.
Stanley was their first rounder in 2016. He is a LHD.
6’7 tall and 242 pounds. Looks like an NHL tweener but could provide depth on the backend |

Who’s this Biden, and how many goals did he score in juniors? Too bad we gave up our third, could prolly have gotten him then... - SDSabre
IIRC, he went to Harvard and we traded for him on two separate occasions. Maybe I'm thinking of someone else |

I know you don't like Reinhart but Laine is not the answer to whatever qualms you have with Samson |

Offer them a pick for Tanner Pearson.
Problem solved. |

I watched A TON of Winnipeg over the past few years.
Buffalo fans will turn on Laine quick |

I feel like laine has more size and is a goal scorer.
Its another different face from a "core" of losers.
Looking at the stats though, they are pretty comparable

A few fans will probably defend him even if he scores 14 goals next season 🤔 |

I disagree. With a cap strapped league approaching, given Laine’s ask, there’s no way 8oa is included. Pick right it could be a Mitch mariner type at 8ao |

Skinner agitates and gives more effort in one shift than Laine does in full games sometimes.
And as soon as Laine starts making a poop ton of money, he will be public enemy #1 |

I agree, but on paper that line looks good.
Laine plays on the 2nd line technically right?
With pp time.
Eichel, dahlin, oloffson, laine on the p.p.
Dangerous pp |

Laines wheel house on the pp is where Eichel plays. So that might not work.
And you are not moving olofsson off his side.
The only movable part on the PP is Reinhart. |
