Laines wheel house on the pp is where Eichel plays. So that might not work.

And you are not moving olofsson off his side.

The only movable part on the PP is Reinhart.

Good points

Reinhart plays to the side of the net most of the time.

If they keep him and get laine , maybe laine slides to the point next to dahlin?

Playing the hypothetical game.

I’d have Laine on the left half wall (where Eichel currently is)

Eichel on the strong side (where Olofsson was)

Olofsson in the top of the slot.

Reinhart to the side of the net setting up Olofsson for the one timer in the slot when we move the puck down low

I as most I would think would have no problem if we got Laine, Toffoli or Marchessault and you can add in Pearson also. I think money wise Marchessault would be the best option and if i'm not mistaken Pearson is a LW ?

Dahlin is perfect at the top of the blue and I would not move either Eichel or VO from there spots.

Eric staal should be a good add for in front of the net / net from presence.

Go check out on YouTube where most his goals were scored this year. He was a garbage man.

I agree 100% because odds are we are not trading for Laine.

As good as Olofsson is on the PP though, Laine is even more dangerous.

Ok, that's weird, even for you. Are those security answers or something?

I appreciate the info.

I know you’re just the messenger however if deciding between Laine and Toffoli I would take the latter (however that would even demand on what the contract would look like)

- Pegullaville

Better still, sign Craig Smith who will cost much less on a contract, as he will provide a quality RW impact offensively and defensively.

The hope is one of Smith/Toffoli in FA to me as long as the term isn’t outrageous.

Anything over 5 years for Toffoli, or 4 years for Smith I’d say nay nay

My hoping is they just get a couple good players that can help, and upgrade the crease, that could help out the most.

I believe Smith's agent (haha) said they're looking for a 3 year deal?

3 years for Smith would be ideal.

It’s going to be an interesting week.

I’d assume we are going to see a ton of trades once we find out where all the free agents have ended up.

UPL, Laaksonen, Ruotsalinen, Pekar, Lundell, Raymond, and Holtz are all in action today.

Some current and possible future Sabres property

A full year of good health will do wonders for Laaksonen.

#mnwild closing in on a 3-year extension for Cason Soucy at $2.75 million.

Carson* Soucy. He was up to No. 19 on our #FreeAgentFrenzy Top 75 this week with lots of teams interested in the 6-foot-5 defenceman.

Move Jack down low & he can dish to Laine on one side or Olofsson in the other
Teams won’t be able to cheat to one side or the other

Idk if i want Laine though
He’s been a really good goal scorer since he’s entered the league, yet the Jets are actively trying to move him
That’s a big red flag imo
