i would take maf off their hands if marchessault came in the deal...wouldn't send too much the other way considering we'd be relieving them of up to $12M (dependent upon whether the Knights would eat some of maf's celery)...

of course, both players have that nasty little M-NTC clauses to deal with

Marchessault has a say so where and if he get's traded.

Take Reilly Smith if it came down to it, unfortunately he has a M-NTC to though

So you pay for streams overseas ? And CHL
and AHL

I really don't care what people do just do act like I'm the one that does it ..

This is obviously not directed towards you

- GERBE!!!75PTS

I'm not watching overseas, AHL, or CHL games, so it's not a concern.

I don't think there's a chance Vegas moves Smith, but he'd be the player I'd ask Vegas about.

UPL stopped 30/32 and grabbed an assist of the secondary variety in a 4-2 win.

You mean you don’t have soo much time with nothing to do that you can’t troll the internet to watch overseas games and chl games so that you can present your hot takes on 16 year olds that are can’t miss.

This year is screwed tbh.

MLB they play several games so they can reschedule in short order.

What is the NFL going to do ? Play this season over the course Of a year and give each team 6 bye weeks ?

- Pegullaville

They really could continue/push the season off until/thru the summer.

Play 2 weeks , skip a week because of covid.

The superbowl would have to be flexible, but probably wont need to adjust as much if there are no fans?

Theres tons of intangibles, like bye weeks and unfair advantages, but let the $$$$$$ keep rolling in

As long as they keep playing, I’ll keep watching.

Everything else is above my pay grade

As if you've never commented on thoughts "above your pay grade" 😉

I really cant see the nfl cancel the season.

Too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Skipping weeks and games is part of the pandemic plan.

How about alex tuch?

Probably untouchable as well?

His speed would be dangerous with eichel. Looks like he has tons of upside and fits the "core" age group.

Vegas is getting up against the cap soon I would imagine and would/could use a mitts / 8OA as much as any team right now.

His contract is great, I can't see them moving him. Sabres have alot of options but they still are looking towards post covid and I think that's why more teams are doing the same as the Sabres. When I find out about the 70mill team cap as Homie posted as well, I, we thought they were crazy but, not as crazy as we think. No people in the seats is a huge problem and they want to stay competitive now and down the road.

The $70M team cap is actual salary, not cap hit, I assume.

Cap is 81.5 I think ? they want to be at 70. I was reading the Yotes want to get under 70 and closer to 60 or 65.

Right, but what I mean is they'd be good with taking a player with say a $6M cap hit if their actual salary is $3M due to the way their contract is structured.

I'm putting together a chart of players who have a higher cap hit than actual salary to see what that list looks like.

👍

Sabres got lucky that all these contracts are up this summer. Could have been ugly if they were a cap type team.

Kerry and Tim had an outside look/ advice at the covid predictions. They are looking long term for sure.

No fans expected in NY is gonna effect them differently than Florida ect.
