kinda funny, we stuck a pineapple crown in some dirt in a pot and the thing has grown like crazy. One of the few things I've seen in one of those social media videos that was true.

Gorton gives an interesting answer on Jesper Fast. Sounds like they're working on trying to prevent him from hitting the open market, but he says it's possible they don't get it done before Friday and then Fast can negotiate with other teams. #NYR

Jeff Gorton says he'll "always take the calls" on the No. 1 pick, but #NYR is focused on making the pick right now.

Relatedly, thanks again Jan for doing this and including me. It was good to research all these prospects.

I just hope the Rangers make picks and don't trade them away. There will be some really good players to come out of this draft from the 20 to 65-75 range.

I could see Fast getting 3 on the open market. It's why I want no part of that contract. Guy is a great bottom 6 guy, but just use those cap assets elsewhere.
