Lowry and Enstrom in 17-18 have a bigger impact on the team that year than Nick Suzuki would have this year. They were trying to win a cup, and keeping your best PK guy and the top shutdown D of that season helps you do that - Rexypoo
Lowry was on the ice when Ryan Reaves scored the game winning goal in game 5. |

Potential Laine deal to NJ.

To WPG: PK Subban, #7, #18 & #20OA draft picks.
Next up: New York Islanders |

No. Kopitar is in decline, and very expensive for a very long time - Rexypoo
You would also be getting either Byfield or Stuttzle as well. Both those guys would be with the organization for a long time. |

I read that as “20OA” for some reason. I’ll take Byfield and Kopitar for Laine |

No - Rexypoo
C'mon Rexypoo, I was looking at the 2015 draft, which this years draft is being compared to. Players taken at those picks were really good.
2015 draft class:
#7 - Ivan Provorov
#10 - Mikko Rantanen
#17 - Kyle Connor
#20 - Joel Eriksson EK
Something to consider. |

Potential Laine trade to Montreal.
To MTL: Patrik Laine
To WPG: Nick Suzuki, Max Domi, Joel Armia, #16OA pick
Next up: Nashville - TheUltimateJet
Maybe not thrilled with some other trade scenarios, but don't mind this one.
Guess it depends on Jets thoughts on Suzuki. Looked good late in the season. Might have to add/change a little, but as a Jet fan, close. Unsure what Hab fans would think?

Oh I wouldn't make this deal - but do think that NJ, NYI, TB, CBS, Vegas and Phil are our best trading partners. Perhaps the Habs and Florida.
Isles, TB and NJ the favorites.
I guess quite a few, but would eliminate 22 teams.

1st topic Adam Lowry
2nd topic couldn't get to it because you guys argued about Lowry for 2 hours and ended up losing your voices. |

How was Vegas going to take both guys? - BWJumper
Either or was worth more to us than the pick |

I'll take my shot at this......
1 - NYR - Lafreniere
2 - LA - Byfield
3 - OTT - Stutzle
4 - DET - Perfetti
5 - OTT - Drysdale
6 - ANA - Rossi
7 - NJ - Raymond
8 - BUFF - Hotlz
9 - MINN - Lundell
10 - WPG - Jarvis
Pick 1-5 is not too much different than Grahamzky but no Sanderson in top 10. My question mark would be including Lundell in top 10 vs Sanderson. I believe there is a small drop off in talent after pick 8. I also think picks 1,4,5,and 6 are locks barring a trade messing things up. Picks 2 and 3 could reverse as well as 7 and 8. - jetsnation
We'll have to check back to see how we fared with our picks against each other.
I know, I know, we don't need LH d-men, but do think, under your scenario, that the Jets pick J. Sanderson with 10th pick, too good, according to reports, to pass up.
I've made my decision with my list - taking the Swede, RW A. Holtz, with my #10 pick. Sounds like he is almost ready, Patrik's replacement if Roslovic doesn't pan out as hoped/expected.
The Jets wouldn't go off the board and pick C H. Lapierre would they? Injury prone but high end.
Anyone else wish to speculate/guess? |

I gotta laugh at this one because I suggested the same thing a few threads back and your response was that it was " a terrible idea ".

It is a terrible idea. But most likely the best trade we can get with the Blue shirts. We need center and d help now. NYR is not trading us Zibenajad and their D is crap.
I would do the deal though if there is another deal to be had based on this one. |

See that TB is reported asking Tyler Johnson to waive his NTC.
So could it be Johnson and Cernak to the Jets for a prospect like Vesalainen? Or something along those lines?
TB need some immediate cap relief. |

My guesses:
1 - NYR - Lafreniere
2 - LA - Stutzle
3 - OTT - Byfield
4 - DET - Perfetti
5 - OTT - Drysdale
6 - ANA - Rossi
7 - NJ - Sanderson
8 - BUFF - Raymond
9 - MINN - Lundell
10 - US - Quinn, Holtz or Jarvis
The Jet pick hinges on if Patrik gets traded. Like a 2nd pick in draft.
Your picks??? See who gets the most correct? - grahamzky
Common, you have to make our pick to! Can’t take three. lol
I’ll play along though;
1 - NYR - Lafreniere
2 - LA - Byfield
3 - OTT - Stutzl
4 - DET - Raymond
5 - OTT - Askarov
6 - ANA - Drysdale
7 - NJ - Holtz
8 - BUFF -Sanderson
9 - MINN - Lundell
10 -WPG - Rossi (now do I honestly think he falls to us, not really but here’s hoping!!!!) |

This is a strong possibility.
We could probably make a similar deal for Stastny from Vegas. |

Johnson has not been good for a while, he is also now, only a winger and a small non physical one. He makes 5 million per for 3 or 4 more years. I say hard no!!!
NYR did not qualify Ryan Strome and if they can’t trade him (haven’t been able to yet) he may be worth a shot on a 1-2 year deal around 4 mil per. While hopefully our first round center in this years draft develops. |

If we can’t get Cirelli I’d way rather gourde. Just no to Johnson, not what we need at all!! Seriously Copp is a much better option at 2nd center than Tyler Johnson is |

Potential Laine trade to Montreal.

I’d take the Montreal deal.
Whether I like them or not, great job pumping these out!!!! |
