Well. All I know is that Tampa is in real trouble right now with Sergachev, Cirelli and Cernak. Could be a bridge over troubled water getting all 3 signed.

Very true, but growing up on a farm in Fort Gratiot township saw me getting my ears boxed routinely by that magnificent woman....all done with love. She'd routinely sit with me to watch the "Dead Things" games on WKBD, Ch 50....back in the day. She passed Aug 1st......her humour was there 'til the end; threatened to take me out for driving from SC to visit her one last time. Yup, she loved the Wings dearly. And would whoop anyone who stepped up to the plate to take her on. Nothing but good memories!!!

Thanks, G. It hurt, but the love, the long winter nights watching the Wings, snowmobile trips all over the UP and around St. Clair county.....a life VERY well lived, makes the hurt less. She was tough, good Lord was she tough, but compassionate, and passionate about family, the Wings and Tigers.

Seriously, what do the Wings have to lose?!? Offer up Sergy and see what happens. Lose a draft pick or 2?!?! pfffft, so what. If The Captaine did that, I'd drive back to MI, sit outside the LCA with a 1/2 barrel of Vernor's in thanks for making it happen!

Old family recipe.....uses cream cheese for the layer on the crust before the strawberry compote is folded in, then bake. Strawberries from the garden, whipped cream from the cow....J, my mouth is watering!!!! I'll send you the recipe. My wife and I make it several times a year. AHHHHHmazing!

Oh man! That does sound amazing! My best friend in high school took me up north to his grandparents (around 1993). His grandma made strawberry jam. I must have eaten a dozen Pb and jam sandwiches! Hard to find people who can preserve like that any more!

if i got it right that would cost a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick next year...hell no to that. Sergachev is not worth giving a high lottery pick. Colorado on the other hand could easily give up late picks and have the cap space.

George Malik posted some good info. Yzerman acknowledged the possible advantage of European players, but said it hasn’t affected his internal rankings. No shame in being wrong, I just wanted to give you this insight
