Trade brewing NOT to try for the Russian netminder, but for someone they like. If Quinn, that speaks to the role Toews plays in the next 2-3 years. Hmm.....not saying Toews plays a reduced role, but maybe find a way for Toews to contribute with impact since his TOI does not have to decrease much.

It is more a message that another skill forward is desired. Personally I am bothered insofar as we should be getting more points and goals from Kane. With Toews not the same force he once was, time for Dach and newbie [Quinn] to step forward

The only negative might be that in order to compete and to do so in playoffs, we need a Saad and another gritty boards top six. Where you would want Holloway to eventually land. But maybe Kelly & Bowman want a Quinn more than Holloway
