Good job trading that headache. 2nd round pick isn’t bad. Still trying to figure out how you got a 1st for Skjel. - potvin05
Only the Rangers can get a 1 for Skjel and move Gomez for McDonagh. |

There is plenty bad with the good though. Just like any team. They have made some great trades but also some real headscratchers and some bad 1st round picks. At least yesterdays and last years 1st rounders were no brainers |

Isles find their Hank in goalie Henrik Tikkanen. He is 6'8. Hopefully this big goalie works out for the Isles. |

We got a 6'8 goalie too from Sweden in the 7th round. Gonna catch lightning in a bottle twice. |

Should be a very interesting goalie battle in NY. - ses111
How funny will it be if the 2 russians are starters and their backups are both 6'8 |

As long as Sorokin is the best NY goalie I'm good. |

I’m just pissed that our veterans will keep him from getting a shot. |

Might be worth kicking the tires............ even if I have no idea how he'd fit under the cap. - JohnScammo

Let that putz go where he may, just so long as it isn’t to the Islanders or Oilers. |

Sounds like he will be a Predator after they traded Bonino and his cap hit to The Wild.
Chance the BJ’s are going to make an offer.
Read that he’s willing to sign a 1 or 2 year deal and then sign a longer term deal when revenues and the salary cap move up or certainly improve. |

Yeah Ek’s dream
Kinda like Lundqvist to San Jose. He’s a Cap first thing tomorrow.
Calgary is looking to sign a goalie and read Maskstrom is at the top of their list. If they sign him they won’t have the space to sign Hall in my opinion.
Arizona is another team with the space to make a run at Hall as well but my guess is The Preds and BJ are in the drivers seat. |

Hmmm... also happens to be when the Islanders will have about a Billion dollars of cap room with Boychuk, Leddy, Leo, Clutterbuck, and Hickey coming off their books. Odd that he seemed to say 2 years.. no?

If she (frank)ed her brother, then yes. Likely so. |

Odd in what way? It's expected that a lot of free agents may be taking one or two year deals to bridge them to seasons when they expect the cap (and salaries) to start rising again. |
