I would trade Tony D to the Flyers for the 23rd and 53rd picks in the draft tonight

but I need that trade now so I can use those picks to move up tonight

I was thinking that too, maybe for Sanheim. He’s a top 4 LHD imo

Where could 22 and 23 + move them to in the draft?
- JRR1285

I have no idea, but if we went into the draft with those picks I'd be freaking out before every pick tonight

I would want a lot more than the two picks, a lot more, for ADA

I am going to be so bummed if we just take someone at 22 who we won't see for 4 years now. I want to see some action

"We have a trade to announce"

Imagine getting into the top 10?

I'd want what they'd get if he signed an offer sheet, I am not too greedy

Deangelo and 22 for monahan. Maybe other pieces involved. That would be my trade. Then sign Krug
- Slimtj100

No thanks.
There are rumours starting to come out of Calgary that maybe he and Gaudreau being a little soft are a big reason why they can't advance.

If they stay at 22, don’t be shocked if Greig is the pick. Think they like the grit he brings. To me, sounds more like a 3c, as unsure he has the offensive skills to be a second line pivot man. But brings the intangibles team may like. I would go with the higher upside potential.

Been hearing chatter of Detroit taking the Russian goalie at 4. That would be a pretty big development I’d think. Stevie Y does beat to his own drum so it’s possible

Agreed. They need to stop looking for the intangibles guy. Trade or bring that person in through FA. You draft BPA every time in the first round.

That would suck to use the 22nd pick on someone who tops out at a 3C

It's all about the price. We can't have Trouba making 8 million and him making close to 6-7 million, when we will have to pay Fox in 2 years. How will we field any LH d men haha

Do you want me to go back to just talking about Kreider?

I am in full Rangers GM mode right now

I can get on board with Monohan for sure.
- JRR1285

If we could get Monahan that cheap in a trade, we should have called it in like yesterday

It's just frustrating that they can't keep all these players.

I think the right thing to do is ship out either Trouba or ADA. Not sure which one.
