It's just frustrating that they can't keep all these players.
I think the right thing to do is ship out either Trouba or ADA. Not sure which one. - JRR1285
Yea its tough. If they could get Tony to a cheap deal for 2 years or something, I am all for that. With the cap staying flat for a few years its going to be tough to figure this all out |

It looks good but for how long? - JRR1285
Long enough for it to become:
Lindgren/Fox
Miller/Lundqvist

No thanks.
There are rumours starting to come out of Calgary that maybe he and Gaudreau being a little soft are a big reason why they can't advance. - Tonybere
Well 21 pts in 30 career playoff games isn’t terrible by any means. I think the cons you mention don’t nearly override his pros imo |

I don’t see Trouba going anywhere. I know the clause kicks in, but you don’t give that kind of contract and then ship him out a year later. It just doesn’t happen |

You may be right!!
I literally thought about deleting that post! lol
I did no research before throwing it out there and keep thinking that maybe it was Gaudreau alone in those stories and I linked them. My bad. |

if they do sign Tony D, then they better hope that the cap is higher than 81 million when Fox is due for his next contract in summer of 2022 |

He's also a minutes eater. Something I'm not sure ADA will ever be. |

Silver lining is that he will still be a RFA without arb rights correct? |

I heard Tony is a real cheap. A bong hit and a hot pocket is enough |

Honestly if we did sign Tony I wouldn't hate turning him into a Right winger. He is a physical player who can score and create offense. It's his defensive game that scares me giving him huge money |

well his biggest strength though is the ability to make those great home run passes
it's an unbelievable talent he has, and if he stays, he'll not only be making those passes to Panarin, Kreider and Zib, but also Lafreniere |

Other than making the 1st pick nothing is gonna happen. Every time Jimbo gets excited nothing happens. |

This is true, every year we get excited for some big draft day trade and it never happens. I really hope this is the year it does |

Also him and Panarin do that back door pass to each other. Which ever is coming in the zone late.
No JRR this is not code for anything. |
