Zadina is already our fourth-best forward.

He may never be a perennial all-star but the kid is good and hopefully will still get a lot better, especially with more minutes and opportunity.

For some of you higher hockey IQ folk... what reason would the preds have to take Askarov? They couldn't win with Rinne, they couldn't win with Rinne/Saros, and they couldn't get into the playoffs with Rinne/Saros. They've had top quality goaltending imo. Is that really what they lack? I guess it'll be a few years to know... but idk.

Rinne has been on the decline for years. He's old now. Saros can't stop a beach ball. Askarov is a good pick for them.
