He had 58 pts in 64 games last year. He tough, good skater( Not like MCclarth), and has a good shot.only 1-2 draft picks make an impact in NHL the year after they are drafted.

No one in draft is helping the Rangers next season, beside Laferniere( hopefully).saying this kid wasn't a good pick because he's not NHL ready is clueless. Want to give other reasons, then fine, but that is ridiculous.

I just think it wasnt a great pick because of team needs. We have so much depth on RD, just dont know where he would fit down the line unless we trade ADA and Nils.

Yea looking at a lot of mock drafts they have Schneider going anywhere from 12-19. So it is solid value. I just hope this means a D trade is coming

As long as Strome is part of the package?

Dude, where did I say it was bad because he isn't NHL ready. Calm your tits.

I would have selected by need and there is no need for a right handed defenseman.

I'm allowed to have an opinion and not care for a pick. I don't have to suck Gortons hog on every pick

Calgary picking up thirds is kind of meh.

Pick up second rounders if you got some balls.

I want no part of moving Nils or fox on the right side. Anyone else can go for the right price

He's basically Robertson from last year but not as good of a skater and a much grittier attitude.

Well if no 2nd line center is coming we may have to keep him for a year. I thought pick 22 would be part of a 2C deal

What would it take to get Hertl out of San Jose?
- Awolff9

An ambulance and alot of bubble wrap guy's brittle as uncooked Ramen noodle plus whatever it would cost to get prospect/pick wise which would probably be alot for a guy who's scored 50+ pts only once in career.

As long as it makes Sam retire
- mdw7413

You keep saying that...

They had to buy out Hank to make sure Sam doesn't screw him up with Nils. He's never going to retire.

If they get the guy they wanted all along and added some extra picks, it's a good move. There are a bunch of Chytil like underrage guys that will probably be around then.

Yea well, based on what were seeing... Trouba aint going no where and neither is Fox. Schneider is billed as a shut down killer of a Dman for 3rd pair. I dont see any space for Nils or ADA.
