Sorry man, but if they let Kahun walk it’s up there with one of the worst decisions of the past 5 or so years.
The Sabres have 4-5 “good” players and are just gonna risk one walking to UFA?
15-20 goal two way winger who can play center who’s gonna cost half what Reinhart will and can do 75% of what he does.
Mindless gamble - sbroads24
I agree.
I did say I thought it was moronic.
If they don’t trade one of Montour/Risto + for a top 6 forward then it’s a double down on moronic.

We are getting all worked up and we aren't out of the picture with Kahun, I am gonna let the rest of the week work itself out and see where we are then. - Buff36
It sincerely doesn’t matter.
It’s another example of them not giving a (frank) about winning and primarily caring about $$. And Adams comments are junior league GM’ing . |

Not allowed.
You’re lowest year can only be half of your highest year.
They changed that a few cba’s ago. - dadeadhead
using your facts to ruin my argument that the team is cheap.

I honestly thought it was the best question.
Even Adams’ body language suggested such.
I think we all believe Cozens is the answer at the 2C position but I really do believe he made that pick of Quinn with that in mind and basically suggested such. - Pegullaville

They can literally walk away from any arbitration ruling higher than $3.25 million.
I don’t get it. Based on his play his contract should be around $2-$2.5 million for a few years. They’re gonna lose a good player they basically stole from Pittsburgh for nothing aren’t they?

There's a certain level that must be reached before a team can walk away.. $4.6M jumped into my head |

I think we know now why Kahum was traded to the Sabres for basic scrubs, the Pens were afraid of arbitration too. Similar to how they got Skinner for Pu and a bunch of crap draft picks. Carolina didn't want him and didn't want to have to pay him the huge contract. These trades made GMJB look good at the moment but long term they would be overpaying if they bit with their desperation. |

Kahun is good. He’s 25, can score, can play defense, can skate. He wasn’t going to cost a lot.
There’s a single reason he wasn’t qualified. Cheapness. That’s it. |

It's over 4mill, cause that's why people were talking about Montour maybe not being qualified. |

You have an affinity for appealing to the authority of GM’s who have made some really terrible decisions lately. |
