My biggest concern is Perfetti and Rossi were
OHL studs for the past 2 years. Quinn was invisible 18/19 then had a big run on goals this past year. Flash in the pan? Did we miss an opportunity on Rossi being our next Briere? Would Perfetti have given us 2 stud centres with Cozens if Eichel walks?
Hard to say. I hope Quinn is the real deal |

Well if I was making the picks.
We’d have Draisatil instead of Reinhart
Sergachev instead of Nylander
Mittelstadt
Cozens
Rossi over Quinn.
So far mitts looks like a bust, and I would have taken two better players in 2014 and 2015.
So yes my track record happens to be better then the people we’ve employed.
I’m not shocked though since we still employ Kevin Devine who took Risto one slot ahead of Bo Horvat. He also traded up for Girgensons and passed on the likes of Tom Wilson and Teuvo Terravinen. - Pegullaville
Highly doubt you had Leon over Reinhart. Nobody would of made that pick especially after how Samson played in the World Juniors

Once again, this is why Pachla, Paul Hamilton, Jeremy White or a group of fans needed to be in the room last night to prevent the Quinn pick. |

He did, and said it multiple times in threads here before that draft. |

Well a little heads up, if things shake out we might not be picking at 38. - Buff36
It will be interesting if it goes through. They need to win now to appease their fans and their captain even though they don't have enough prospects. Not a good situation to be in.

Reinhart's great play in the World Juniors was after the Sabres had drafted him. I remember Pegulaville and Sbroads both clamoring for Draisaitl over Reinhart.

I'm confused as to what you are trying to convey? Is it that the Sabres picked well? There are many that are happy with it, and many that like Quinn the player but liked another better (which they are clearly allowed to do). Or is it that you don't think the Sabres have done anything wrong under Pegula's watch (9 year playoff drought would disagree with that sentiment). Or are you just being a Richard to be a Richard. Combo of the above plus extra? You are on the wrong board if you don't want discussion, and just wanna praise the organization or the guys that are in a position to make those selections. I don't know if you've noticed, but both our last GMs still don't have jobs, so it's not just get the job and you know what you are doing. |

I get it. But hopefully our newest pick/dud will continue his upward progress.
Sure, we would all cream for briere but realistically, how many players are exactly the same as the prognosticators say? The next Gretzky? Oh, I meant Keith.
It really is a crap shoot. People who get lucky look smart and people that have brutal luck work for the sabres. |

My point, and I'll say it in Polish if I have to, so that people in Cheektowaga and the Southtowns can understand me, is that, instead of whining about the owners and the GMs, they need to take ACTION. Editorials to the Buffalo News, protests outside of the arena, sending DMs to Pegula and Kevyn Adams on Twitter saying "enough is enough."
Western New York sports fans talk tough, but they do nothing to back it up, except whine on this board and call up some podunk sports radio station a la Duane Steinel and rant and rave. |

Matt Murray, come on down!!!! - Gr8daygo
I really hope not.. He's underwhelmed completely and living off the two Cups that two of the top five players in the league got him (I know, he was solid in the playoffs, and made a couple timely saves, but the amount of crazy average to below average play because if it has me wanting nothing to do with him) |
