He was expendable, tradeable, and most likely two teams didn't want to deal with the arbitration award he would be awarded. Maybe he will stay but it is not catastrophic if he doesn't especially this early in the offseason. I think some people need to take a chill pill.

EROD got 2 mill in arbitration that is what they were afraid of. If they rendered him a qualifying offer he could have walked away from negotiations and filed for arbitration and then if he got what he wanted they are stuck with it.
