I would have to look, but 1 right of the top of my head Anthony Duclair
- Buff36

Duclair - 8 power play points in 168 minutes of power play time, 27 even strength points in 814 minutes of time on ice, produced at a 1.99 even strength points per 60 rate (94th out of 375 forwards who played at least 400 minutes), and is terrible defensively

Kahun - 28 power play points in 57 minutes of power play time, 29 even strength points in 678 minutes of time on ice, produced at a 2.56 even strength points per 60 rate (25th out of 375 forwards who played at least 400 minutes), and is solid to above average defensively

I know who I'd look to sign of the 2 above.

Pretty sure you had kahun at 2lw. Called you out in it, then he turned into "top 9"

Also seen him at 3 lw and 3C

Kahun was basically a gimme from Pittsburgh, because they new his value and what he was going to want this offseason.

It was part of the deal, when you trade erod and sheary for a player, expectations were that $ is part of the issue.

- Boss34

Kahun is good. End of story.

It doesn’t matter what Pittsburgh did. These anecdotes that he was traded therefore is worthless are ridiculous.

He’s good. He’s cheap. Keep him.

They bought him out so they actually paid him to leave.

buyout, and he only had 22 points last season

kahun was roughly 50% more productive

Kahun is a quality 3rd line player who can play up on the 2nd line in spot duty when needed.

They will sell off the best one (Colin Miller) because Ralph doesn’t like him, and add a mediocre goalie and call it an offseason

Remember when last year we were like - there’s no way Sobotka, Scandella, Risto, Okposo, Girgensons are ALL coming back, right? And they all did.

Eichel was spotted at BNI buying 8 one way tickets to various destinations. More to follow

If you could begin making sense, that would greatly help, but I'll help you get started:

If they tried to trade Kahun, it would have taken little time to find a buyer.

- kingcong39

You think? A player who they traded scrubs for and is still here and is no doubt off of everyone's untouchable list but yours and Broads so they probably talked about trading him to other teams before not qualifying him. That arbitration thinger really is hurting his value but not in your eyes.

No, no. We aren't paying you 8 million. The Yankees are paying half of your salary. The Yankees are paying you 4 million dollars to play against them

Bingo.

But hey let’s have a $6 million dollar guy anchoring the 4th line because he’s nice, plays with kids, and pays his taxes.

Opinions are like a$$holes . Everyone has one.

For once the Sabres make a sound fiscal decision and everyone is crying for days.

We have other potential, small , non gritty wingers in my opinion.

He wasn't cheap by the way, that's why they avoided arbitration.

You're acting like we let danny briere go.

Dude played 6 games for the Sabres.
They will probably sign him for cheap, when nobody else wants him

The bolded above is complete make believe.

Arbitration only hurt him in the Sabres cheapskate eyes.

It was a non concern.

Nobody is saying Kahun is untouchable. Nobody.

The point is to not lose an asset that actually produces for nothing in an effort to be cheap.

Your ability to comprehend is off the charts bad.

pissed off

I really want the yacht to hit an iceberg or they sell the team

I am embarrassed to be a sabres fan right now

the bankrupt years were more enjoyable

draft day is suppose to be fun, exciting and hope and this cheap move solidifies they have no clue how to run the sabres

and if there was going to be a signing, probably would have heard of one by now

Two questions

How many teams have a worse group of forwards ?

How many of those teams let a useful forward walk without a QO?

Here’s your answer - possibly 1. Ottawa. And Kahun is better than Duclair.

But we know, Buffalo and Ottawa routinely are competing for the cup and have a long history of good decision making skills
