I’ve been informed by a source close to the situation that Taylor Hall to the Colorado Avalanche on a short-term deal is being finalized. Will be announced in the coming days.

Duclair - 8 power play points in 168 minutes of power play time, 27 even strength points in 814 minutes of time on ice, produced at a 1.99 even strength points per 60 rate (94th out of 375 forwards who played at least 400 minutes), and is terrible defensively

Kahun - 28 power play points in 57 minutes of power play time, 29 even strength points in 678 minutes of time on ice, produced at a 2.56 even strength points per 60 rate (25th out of 375 forwards who played at least 400 minutes), and is solid to above average defensively

You have to negotiate the new deal before the arb hearing. Once the arb award comes out you are stuck with it unless it's above the walk-away threshold.

once the ARB Hearing starts, they are stuck with it...all negotiation end during Arb, as per the CBA changes agreed to earlier this year...last year teams could negotiate up until the Award date..usually 5 - 7 days after the start of the hearing

Last season, Erods award caused the Sabres to re-negotiate with McCabe and Ullmark to reach agreement before award...that timeframe no longer exists.
