He has an elite shot, best of the entire draft class.

My issues with Holtz is that he was scoring most of his goals from distance which might work in the SHL but won’t work in the NHL.

However a commitment to getting to the dirty areas and an improved defensive game and he is going to be a guy we talk about for a long time.

That shot is a beaut

But yes I did see some reports that said he does take some bad shots but others that said he does go to the good shooting areas

Some of those analysts just looked at the shooting chart since they said this shot here was a bad choice but when someone broke it down it was more of a just get it on net for a faceoff or get it on net and change

I'm sure as he matures his selection will get better

There's always room for improvement

So flat cap wouldn’t it make sense to sign the better “cheaper” players?

It’s also a new staff that the owners hand picked a few months ago. So again it shows their incompetence.

Underrated playmaking ability as well.

He will just fine beside either Hughes or Hischier starting as early as 2020/2021.

Just needs to work on his play away from the puck.

Holtz’ release and shot is the best of the class.

Quinn was able to score goals multiple different ways and get to the dirty areas in order to do so.

I’m sticking with my Quinn is Oshie/Toffoli and Holtz is Laine

Quinn doesn’t have an elite shot.

He’s just a natural goal scorer who will score in anyway shape or form

Agree with this

Both will be good, just different ways of how they score

Devils needed someone badly who could shoot, the only person on the devil's who can is palms

They tried to low ball him with an offer under $2M per and he's only looking for $2.5? This is the line in the sand?

Twins have him at 2.9 on a 2 year deal so that seems right. My understanding is he’s asking around 2.5. I bet his market value is around 2.75-3 if he goes to UFA. We’ll see.

Ya this kind of Richarding around worked out so well with mike peca, didn’t it?

My sentiments- 5 billion dollars doesn’t go as far as one might think.

Especially if it is not liquid capital. Peggy is trying to keep up with the kartrashians and got caught when the price for natural gas and oil went in the dumper.

Sabres lose money (idiot in charge and small. Market)

Big shot can’t go and dig a new well because there ain’t no money in it.

So forgive me for sounding like the guy with tinfoil on his head, but:

https://www.nfl.com/news/...orkouts-involving-players

It might make a helluva lot of sense for the league to force the Titans to forfeit the game, so they don't frank up the schedule.

Just sayin'.

Toughness helped, but so did their star players playing like stars, which they did not always in years past.

I agree, but stammer only played a few shifts.

Kuch ,point and pulat were outstanding.

It was a team effort though.

Killorn
Coleman
Goodreau
Maroon
Gourde
Johnson

All part of a great team.

Lower than a pitbulls stomach
Colder than a well diggers lunch
Knee high to a grasshopper
Larry playfairs nose looked like a change purse
All over him like a cheap suit.

Robi was great. All quotes off the top of my head.

Met him when I worked at circuit city.
Had time to chat hockey, nice guy

I agree 100%.

All we are saying collectively for the most part is Kahun is a good player that we let go for free.

I think we can all agree that it would be nice to acquire some players with some toughness that can also contribute positively in other areas as well to the teams success.

Homie, you're hatred for everything Sabres is understandable yet unhealthy. I seem to remember you have or used to have a source in the organization?? I'm guessing this source was fired as (a) we don't here any more rumors from you and (b) the previously note hatred for Sabres.

no

when I said a month ago that there was no talks yet with reinhart's agent and the people that attack me on a daily basis got on me again, I decided not to post anymore information (yet that came out recently)

I said 70 mil payroll, long before it came out

I said at the time, they were keeping botts for continuity, a week later the peggys came out and said that very same thing

my source never worked for the sabres and still gets information on a regular basis

people want to believe we are going to get Pietrangelo or any other high priced guy, your in for a long weekend

my hatred is lousy owners destroying the franchise I grew up loving

I have lost my love for the team over the last 3 years and if they do not catch lightning in a bottle this winter with the kids, it could cost them eichel, and maybe even dahlin

when I think the team has bottomed out with the 4 headed hydra, they sink to lower levels

I honestly think we could be much worse this coming season, at all levels
