Exactly. A pretty basic contract for someone who is glad to play 4th line and 4th line minutes and has accepted his defensive role. No brainer here

4th liners are going to be a dime a dozen.

As much as we b!tch, we aren’t the only team trying to get lean.

There is going to be quality players had on the cheap compared to the last few seasons.

2.2 for a forth liner along with the $6 for the guy with head injuries(I really do think he’s a quality guy and had some unfortunate issues).

It now stands to reason that a team trying to get “lean”, now has an 8.2 million 4th line and that’s only 2/3rds of a line.
