it's always term. teams can work around a high cap hit but they can't when it goes on too long. dropping big money would be okay (if a team has it) but going max term (!) or 5+ years especially on a goalie is no bueno.

the term would have to be to help drop the aav. edmonton has mcdavid and draisatl locked up for the next 5 and no other goalie that looks to be cup contending ready in that span. not saying its good business but if im holland i dont see where you could solve this goalie problem any easier
