Anton 3x3.5 to stay in Dal
- manvanfan

He played well and earned that, i imagine the term was more important than the $ for him. He was great in the playoffs for DAL

It is better than talbot at 3 for 11. The two year deal is great. Always prefer cheaper but it works.
- anavar

Agreed.

i'll take Holtby at 4.2/2 yrs over Talbot, Murray or Khodobin deals signed today.

Happy to be wrong.

cant see him getting less than $4.5 on a show-me deal. it was a down year offensively by his standards but still better than most. it just better not be with vancouver

Idk about that til RHD are signed lol

I luv Holtby stats aside cuz he seems to rise to a challenge. Hope more is in his tank.

No doubt. Who better to learn from than both a Vezina and Cup Champion.
Very happy with this.

Que the Barrie 6 X 6 signing...

Barrie 5x5 wouldn't be horrible....

4 years, 25 million for matt Murray. WTF Ottawa LOL
- Codes1087

I agree that it's a major overpayment for Murray, but if there's one team who can afford it, it's the Senators. They've got a lot of money free for the foreseeable future.

Holtby was the only goalie in that tier who was willing to sign for short term without protection from expansion.

Totally different scenario from Eriksson, who was expected to be a 1st line forward and produce a ton of offense when he signed.

Holtby was signed to play 30-40 games and mentor Demko as he goes through growing pains as a starter. There wasn't a better candidate for that role on the market, and this signing is low-risk.

Recent G signings might have the Flames wanting to squeeze Marky a bit. 5/6m?

Don’t equate it to TOI. That is in game management.
