Normally I subscribe to D not playing their offhand but in Hughes case his rover style changes that. Benn supposedly plays the right side better. TG & JB must be in tight contact for these decisions.

Totally disagree. IMO Hughes is a HOF player on the left side. You don’t put him anywhere but where his potential is it’s highest - especially if the reason for doing so is to accommodate plugs that you overpaid.
