Gutter slut - Cptmjl
That’d be a bit harder to swallow.
*rereads last sentence*
Huh. I am a slut. |

Hoffman is the one and only player Lou should target tomorrow. We have plenty of time too free up cap space before season starts . |

Habs gave Josh Anderson 7 years. These GM's will never learn. |

Anderson had 1 goal last year. He should have been given a show me 2 year deal. |

Just bizarre. Thought Varly was Sorokin's buddy and a big reason he signed? |

Now if he said they were moving Varlamov and signing Greiss that would be at least 15% believeable instead of 0% |

Islanders rumors always seem to be the strangest. The Isles need help at forward and it always seems to be rumors about defense or a goalie. |

He really doesn't pay any attention to the Isles at all and constantly puts us in the Mix for sht we don't need. It's actually comical. Had us in on 2 goalies so far in free agency. Last year had us trading for D-man.. completely clueless when it comes to Isles. |

Even if Taylor Hall is not realistic for the Isles, he is a forward and it's a big area of need and it would make much more sense than a goalie or a dman. Many forwards you can add to the Isles that would make sense. |

I'm having a hard time rectifying those 2 assertions. Isn't Dubinsky owed a lot of real dollars? - Puckin_Island
I liked how you just conveniently cut out this part
Dubinsky is also due the same real-dollar salary that his cap hit is, so Malkin/Ledecky also have to sign off on paying someone almost $6M to not play in a season where they'll have little-to-no revenue coming in.

If the Islanders sign anyone, which seems like a longshot at this point...Craig Smith is going to make some GM look smart. He's a volume shooter, won't cost much in money or term, and would be an excellent add for Pageau's line. Much better than Brassard or Komarov or pretty much anyone that Pageau has seen regular time with

Things can change quickly but looks like Derick Brassard and Matt Martin will test the UFA waters.
Last time Martin got to UFA he got a 4-year deal worth $2.5-million per -- from Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello in 2016. Fully expect him to circle back to #Isles before committing. |

I like Matt but it would be strange to see him back unless it's a friendly one year deal. Same for Brassard. What is your take on Josh Anderson getting 7 years chief? |

OK money, less-than-ideal term. Missed a lot of time two out of the last three seasons and the one in between (his best offensive season) was spent playing with Panarin so I would guess that his numbers were a bit inflated. It's a risky deal for the Habs, but if he stays healthy it could turn into a pretty good one. |

To me it's madness to give 7 years to someone like Josh coming off 1 goal and his injury history. 7 years for Lee was a lot and Anderson is a whole other bad in terms of 7 years. |
