Is this a hill worth dying on? Seems to me the Leafs got a player who has NHL experience while Florida got someone with size who may never see another NHL shift in his career.

Malgin was never gonna do nothing with the Leafs. Never. No hindsight needed. Marchment had a much better chance doing something with this team and I really don't see how that's even debatable.

He did something that this team itself says it needs now. Play hard hockey.

Yeah, he probably would've maxed out as a 4th liner, but he'd easily be more important to this team than useless Malgin.

Murray’s done a lot of stupid stuff.. drafting Hampus at 6 that year is not one of them...

There's a few hits in the first round of that draft but it's mostly a complete embarrassment. Rielly, Hampus, Trouba, Vasilevsky, Forsberg... That's about as good as it gets. The majority of the rest of the first round should be on a where are they now episode.

I was on a couple a few weeks ago. Didn't really have much of an option so I just convinced myself plane would be pretty much empty anyways. Flight out of Toronto was packed, not a single (frank)ing empty seat.

Passed my covid tests when I got home. Probably will be refusing those trips for awhile.

Columbus is shedding salary and they actually look decent for covid issues. Most money is one year so they don't have to pay anyone beyond this year if they dont have to, or limit the amount.

To be fair, that's only a fake part of me whose head will explode.

Covid has (frank)ed me in that regard, too . I was doing pretty decent in losing weight just before it hit but then I lost my job and have been drunk ever since.
