Hamonic and Tanev. I'm not sure the dollars those two can command, but if its not too excessive then I don't think I'd be unhappy. I know Tanev is made of Lupul glass, so maybe not. I'm not sure.

If Tanev comes cheap, I'd probably do it. Think he wants to get paid, though. And also probably wants to sign in Pittsburgh.

I want no part of Hammonic, though. Never liked his game and he's only getting worse as the years go on.

So weird that Rodrigues sjgned league minimum with Pitts , why not just sign with the leafs then?

Leafs are short of RHD, its well known - something has to happen before the season starts for sure. Even if its not a big name free agent. As of right now the RH side of the defense is :

Hard to say we even have one second pairing RHD at this point. We can say the prices are low, but until we see a move, that group is pretty disappointing.

We don't a 2nd pair RHD. On teams like the Bruins of last year, we don't even have a third pair RHD.
