No idea why 2 years was needed with Subban. What has he shown?.. one year would of done it.

The goalie dominoes continue to fall. Crawford and Greiss the two biggest names left. Fleury maybe also. Who needs a goalie? Colorado and Carolina still looking for upgrades?

Carolina and Crow makes too much sense to me. I rather he goes there than the Avs. Then I have to hope he sucks.

I don't. His contract contributes to the cap woes the team has felt over the years. He (along with Toews) could have taken $8.5 million instead.

Flames are gonna regret that one in this current economic climate. They just locked up an average goalie who is good but not great for 6 years at a pretty high AAV considering the cap has been reeled back.

Nothing against Markstrom, but he isn't a top end goalie.

That contract is insane, there’s a reason why bad teams stay bad, once in a while they have a year where things fall into place, but then they go right back to sucking.

I think because they think he's an NHL goalie and to not have to worry about going through this next year at a higher price it was worth a small gamble he can be burried.
