I don't expect us to be signing any of the top names, but a number of better lower tier names are gone - and not seeing us connected to anyone. I will be happy as long as we don't make any mistakes - like Jack Johnson at any price.

I agree. I don't want Justin Schultz, Shattenkirk, Barrie, Ennis, Fast, Holtby, Murray, idk. Maybe some of the cheaper goalies would be nice.. but yea. Not concerned.

I like what Fitz is doing. He's let go all of the players that weren't necessary to the team, you can replace them later. Hasn't moved in on the mediocre FAs that have been overpaid, especially goalies. Soon the contending teams are going to want to move contracts to get in on the real big name FAs and we can use all that cap space to get something out of it. Teams like Vancouver are in a horrible cap crunch and we can capitalize.
