Another thought...how involved was management/coaching/ownership/Jack, in snagging Hall? We know the coaching relationship, but, was said relationship that impactful? Did Jack reach out? Does ownership have a win-now mandate? How did our stripped-down management team help or hinder this process..despite it being a one year deal, this takes a lot of work. I dunno, just super interested in the whole process of making the this happen.

But he won a Hart Trophy and with some nasty stats. They needed the money they are saving on him for Hall. Girgs plays a different game and brings different qualities. I think we can lay the Kahun debate to rest.
