Can the Sabres just say if you don’t sign a long term extension with us, we are just going to wait 19 years to pay you that |

The new LOG line takes on those difficult defensive zone faceoffs
Hopefully Lazar can play close to what Larsson did
It might not be a strong defensive team but I'll take that over last year and with more goals and improved goaltending that is a playoff team IMO |

The new cba
A) increased the escrow from 15% - > 20%
B) added a 10% salary deferral, to be paid in 2 years I believe...could be wrong on the timeline.
So, all else being equal
$81.5 Salary payout, less 20% Escrow, less 10% Deferral...
$81.5 - $16.3 - $8.1 = $57.1 in cash out the door (+ $1.65 payout to Hogson and Ehrhoff)
Not sure how any of this relates to the rumored Internal Cap...which from recent Hall signing seems to be out the window if no money out / less or $0.0 money in deals are made

I like the lines ..... the one thing I would change is add Eric Staal to the 1st PP.
Check out his highlights with the Wild. The dude is a garbage man in front of the net and puts home some lose pucks and some tips.
And I actaully sorta agree that Pilut comes back.

I'm not sure how you can do it with the way the roster is constructed currently, but I need Cozens at center to find out if he can play the position sooner rather than later. I don't need him in a top 6 role just yet, though.

It's a good point...let him play 2RW for 20 games to learn from how Staal plays the C ... then,
Push him down to 3C and push Eakin to 3RW. Assuming Tage doesn't poop the bed, move him up to 2RW |

No new Covid positive tests for the Titans.
Bills plane scheduled to fly to Nashville around 6pm tonight.
https://flightaware.com/l.../20201012/2155Z/KBUF/KBNA - buffalofan19
Good job gerbe junior tracking that flight! lol
I am still sort of shocked the NFL is forcing the bills essentially to play when the conditions arent 100% safe.
If a Bills player or players do get COVID from the titans, the NFL PA needs to step in. The league might need to take some time off. |

Watching K. Adams and Krueger along with Ownership respond to that pathetic dribble being spewed around the league about our Captain was like a Rally of mouth breathers screaming next to each other during a world wide pandemic without masks.
Buffalo Sabres obtaining a player such as Taylor Hall
Most fans won't even know the tremendous qualities/intangibles that come along
w/ Hall's Goals & Assists
This 1st Over All drafted player.
1. Speed
2. Sniper
3. Strong
4. Leadership
5. Consistency
6. Versatile
These are why Taylor Hall was the #1 most highly sought during NHL FA 2020
The Pegula Owned Buffalo Sabres just signed
All-Star Centerman and Top Ten Centers in past 10yrs 2nd OA - ERIC STALL
&
All-Star Winger and League MVP & 1st OA TAYLOR HALL
The checkout receipt read: Marcus Johanson and a bag of chips. |

The way I see it is ..... the sabres have 7 top 6 forwards.
Eichel
Staal
Hall
Skinner
Olofsson
Reinhart
Cozens -> I expect with his skills and speed to be on the wing.
Anyways .... odd man out plays on the 3rd line.
Mitts - Eakins - odd man out of the top 6. |

No condition is "100% safe", so if that were the standard, we wouldn't have a season.
There is almost zero evidence that COVID has been transmitted on the playing field, in just about any sport, dating all the way back when Rudy Gobert got it, nobody on the 6 teams the Utah Jazz played in the previous 2 weeks tested positive. There's more danger of getting it in the team facilities, film rooms, etc.
Also, Flightaware is awesome. I've been using it for years. |

For how long?
They drafted him to be the 2C eventually, would be crazy not to get him a ton of experience there after breaking in in the wing. |

Hall signed to okay with Eichel and get his spark back. Staal was intrigued with reuniting with Skinner. I don’t see any way, other than injury, that changing |

I've been told that all 3 actually are comfortable on either wing.. Play the combinations that work be the best.. Which most people won't want to hear this: Hall and Eichel on separate lines. They have some of the same qualities (puck carrying, circling, etc)
Skinner plays his best away from the puck as a trigger man, which works for Eichel
Skinner - Eichel - Sam
Hall - Staal - VO
Mitts - Eakins - Cozens
Larry - Larold - Concussed Lawrence |

I'm not so sure that's the case. We know skinner and jack works. I think hall and Staal would too. i wouldn't be surprised at all if those were the pairings. |

I agree with the placement of skinner and hall. here I go:
skinner jack cozens/tage
hall Staal cozens/tage
olo eakins reinhart
anyone anyone okposo
I would use reinhart to balance the lines. or trade him and throw quinn out there right now. |
