Even a blind squirrel finds a nut... hahaha jk nice work, I certainly didn't think it was possible.
My take on Hall is he signed with buffalo to up his value in a flat cap year. Unfortunately playing with eichel will get him a max deal. I highly doubt they pay him max to stay. Either way its great to have him and possibly end the drought. - Carubba-Kaleta
Regardless of anyones take on Hall, I'll worry about 12 months from now, 12 months from now. I'm really excited to see another super star on the roster!
BTW, Gerbe still has "lots to learn" lol as he says... |

Trade Risto, Montour and Miller (-$13m)....go get Dahlin's partner...Pietrangelo (+8.5)
Dahlin - Pietrangelo
McCabe - Joker
Pilut - Borgen - IonSabres
I like your thinking |

Sadly, I didn't even take Ralph into account as to why Taylor Hall signed.
That makes more sense now.

Think were done with forwards this year.
Need is goalie, then D, after we dump a D or 2. |

What’s Yakupov up to? |

I am not attempting to rain on the parade, but advanced stats have the team now estimated at 85 points for next year.
That is with no change in the goaltending or defense. - kingcong39
UFA is 3 days old. I think they'll try to add a 1a (Kuemper) or 1b (Fleury) type goalie |

Well we probably don't want too many of that old crew.
When they were together back then it just didn't work! |

Curious who people like from the list below, assuming Pietrangelo is signing with Vegas today.

I love Gustaffson depending on the price. If we could ship out 2 of these 3 (Riston, Miller, Montour) get a goalie in retrun and sign Gustaffson, we'd be golden |

Mittlestadt, Ullmark, Skunk and next years 1st to Chicago for Kane
Montour, 22 2nd, 21 3rd to Arizona for Kuemper
Skinner Eichel Kane
Hall Staal available
Olo available available
available Eakins Okposo
Girgs
Lazar
Thompson
Cozens
Reider
That top line would be a highlight machine and this gets them in the playoffs
Chicago needs to rebuild I don’t even know if this fits cap wise and I’m not looking it up - washedup20

Yep time to knock off the high priced forwards, think we got our limit, and spend elsewhere on the roster. |

On how Hall fits into the lineup
Krueger acknowledged that lines change based on a number of situations: whether you're at home or on the road, where you're at situationally in a game, etc.
That said, it is safe to expect seeing a healthy dose of Hall playing alongside Jack Eichel.
"You of course have to see us often in that setup," Krueger said. "… There is a really good chance that the speed and the skill set that these two have will synergize for something extremely exciting. I've got sheets in front of me right now where it looks something like that."
Krueger also touched on the wealth of left-shot wingers the Sabres currently have on their roster, with Hall joining a group that also includes Jeff Skinner, Victor Olofsson, and Zemgus Girgensons. The coach said Olofsson and Girgensons are among the candidates who can play the right side.
"Olofsson is definitely a candidate for the right side," he said. "Girgensons can play the right side. Even if we start with a Dylan Cozens with his skill set and overall ability to read the game, he has a chance too. There are multiple options. We're not afraid of that. |

Here's 4 names to keep an eye on the Sabres acquiring:
Jordan eberle
Ryan Nugent Hopkins
Justin Schulz
* Devan dubnyk
This is the most probable in my opinion - Boss34
The Islanders signed Eberle to a new deal last year, and it has 4 seasons left. They're trading him already? For what?
Justin Schultz was signed by the Capitals 3 days ago. They're trading him already? |

Okay hear me out:
Skinner Eichel Reinhart
Hall Staal Cozens
Olofsson Eakin Thompson
Girgensons Lazar Okposo
Reider
Dahlin Joker
McCabe Risto
Pilut Miller
Trade Montour and whatever you need for Kuemper
Trade Hutton to someone for a 7th
Kuemper
Ullmark
PP1:
Hall Eichel Reinhart
Dahlin Thompson (they had him there before)
PP2:
Skinner Staal Oloffson
Pilut Risto
Eichel with Skinner got Skinner 40 goals
Hall can carry a line and put up 30-40 himself - Stripes77
Love it!
Puts us 3rd place in our division ahead of the Leafs,
and a threat to do some damage in the playoffs |
