For me, it's not that Girgs "took his money". It's that we still have Montour, who Krugs doesn't like/doesn't fit how we run our system but kept. It really is the sunk cost fallacy at work. We paid a first for him, therefore beat the square peg into a round hole. But we paid nothing for Kahun, so it's fine if he walks. Even though he's clearly the better asset that will undoubtedly cost less or close to Montour. Unless Kahun get's 4.5 or something crazy, seems shortsighted at best, bad at worst.
