Snag Raanta and convince Pilut to come play in Buffalo (like he should have been able to do last year under botts watch) and things get really fun. - Mentalorgasm5
I would still love to know if pilut is an option for 20-21 |

He will be gone , they aren't very popular right now. They have no loyalty to players, they bring in. They see a shiny new toy and they trade or sign for it, then after a year or two another new toy comes out and they ship out the old toy and bring in another. |

Cheap to acquire. Rental, not a crazy cap hit. 92% career save percentage. Solid one two punch with Ullmark.
He cant handle a full work load, but he wouldnt have to |

I think a cozens or tage gets first team pp if dahlin runs it
I am still in shock over yesterday - homiedclown
U think a rookie is getting PP1 time over Staal & (especially) Olofsson?
Olofsson was our PP goal leader last year
It would be weird to take him off the top unit
Jack, Hall, Olofsson, Dahlin, & either Sam or Staal
is my guess for the top unit
PP2
Sam or Staal, Skinner, Cozens, & then who knows?
I’m sure we’ll see some shuffling though

The problem isn't the basic number, rather the proper distribution of different types and contracts across the roster to be; economical, effective and efficient...and I say those words in sincerity.
The are overloaded at 2 & 3 RhDs now, and need decent 2LhD and a Partner for Dahlin. - IonSabres

Any worries of breaking the synergy of some of the orginal knights?
Its definitely an upgrade on the ice.
Wonder if the "team" slips a bit |

If they get goaltending, and let Dahlin and Jokiharju take over, maybe.
I mean I think we can agree we’re fighting for a wild card spot - sbroads24
Not many teams have a combo of Hall and Eichel, tied with a player who can score 5 on 5 like skinner.
Team better be in the Playoffs, or its going to get gutted. |

But a top pair quality defenseman for a 3rd is well worth figuring it out
Of course that’s not as easy this season
Tough to pass up that talent so cheap though
Wish the Sabres got him - jdfitz77
He is a LHD too, strengthening your argument. From Ralph’s zoom today it seems to me they’re happy with their group of dman. He didn’t show the same
Conviction with the goalies.
Give me Kuemper!! |

Don't know but they seem to throw things away when they find new things. I'm guessing some of these players aren't fans of DeBoer, that's what they are saying here. I can care less because it's only the Sabres for me. |
