E4 Kuemper, Kessel and a 2021 3rd for Hutton, Mittlestadt and Miller - turbo044
I’m fine with this trade scenario
Not sure is the Sabres have cap space for it |

I figured as much, and he's made that pretty clear with the abundant homerism of the Pegulas. While I doubt he's a Pegula, and more so sure he isn't, his dad clearly works for them.
I don't need to know the guy's name, but he considers the Pegs "family" and that's all I need to know.
Honestly, if people close to me were getting bashed by faceless people every day for doing a poor job, I'd be uncomfortable being a part of that community too. Not saying it's right, not saying it's wrong, but I'd probably try to defend them. The Pegulas, while nice people, as I know first hand, are still incompetent in many ways. |

If you consider the list of names that Seattle would have to choose from, is there anyone on that list that would be worth swinging a side deal to protect?
Miller? Take him
Risto? Take him
Eakin? Take him
Gus? Take him
I feel like the Sabres are set up to lose only a marginal player who is probably making too much.
I think you're better off just letting them pick than trying to outsmart yourself and give up additional assets. I agree the Carrier/Ullmark deal worked out nicely - jcragcrumple
I think you're looking at this wrong. You wouldn't make a side deal to protect someone, you make a side deal so they take someone. A la okposo. |

I'm still going on record saying the NFL is screwing the Bills here.
Any reports on White? - sbroads24
How? The Bills have been practicing and have had extra time to prepare for Titans who have not been practicing and then they get a 6 day turnaround to play KC instead of 4. I just read an article that had Bills and KC as winners in the shuffling of the schedule. Haven't heard anything on White.

Thats a concern too. Especially for White who I assume isn’t playing probably because of it.
The other is just the simple fact that the NFL has had to cater to Tennessee, while allowing them to get Healthy, and rescheduling two Bills games with everything in limbo all week.
It just has let down game written all over it - sbroads24
That doesn't mean the NFL is screwing the Bills. Are you concerned they might screw themselves? At some point they are going to lose, I hope it's not to the Titans, but Titans have a good enough team to do it. |

Theyre forcing the Bills to travel and play a team that has had an outbreak of Covid, and kept the game in limbo up until basically yesterday.
It was reported that the Bills were running two different game plans this week.
The Titans have been preparing for the Bills for two weeks.
Maybe I’m overstating that they’re screwed, but they’ve had two games rescheduled and get to play a team who had an outbreak |

Correct - would have us taking in a net cap of $3.7m. Change Schmaltz for Kessel and the net becomes a more reasonable $2.7m. Would mean another contract would have to leave
How about this as an unrealistic blockbuster:
Kuemper, Schmaltz, OEL for Miller, Reinhart. Middlestadt and Hutton and a 2021 1st?
Net cap in for us would be: $18.5 in about $14 out
Helps them cap wise, one can dream.....we would then trade Risto or montour elsewhere |

Girgensons is very good player, coming off a a contract that he outplayed -
12 goals - averaging almost 14 minutes a game.
The market, just like the stock market changes.
Krueger didnt have the benefit of seeing the stalled ufa signings.
Most around here are gonna like the lion eater again, when were a good team.
Why isnt anyone talking about bogo for 4.5 million less, vesey for 4 million less this year and Simmonds signing cheap in Toronto?
They are paying those guys 4 million total?
We paid them over 12 last year. - Boss34
I like Girgs, but I don't feel this way. I think he was overpaid at 1.6m. There isn't much difference between him and the average replacement Lazar-like guy. Useful player, but I don't see why they paid such a premium.

I agree with this completely. I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong, but I think we'll see more of this type of situation before the season is over.

Doesn’t work for the Sabres, that I’m sure of.
However even I don’t know what he exactly does.
All I know is that there is some sort of connection that Gerbe has with the organization itself.
