Even if he did,
He gave more term to Eakin and Girgensons than Hall and Staal. I didnn't know we were gearing up for one final cup run this season. - sbroads24
So I want to make sure I understand. The moves you do like are not because of adams, but the ones you don't like are because of adams.
Yeah there is no flaw in that type of logic. |

He also was Minny’s top line center, who’s now our second center and won’t be getting top PP time, especially with Hall here.
He’s probably a 40 point player for one year and then gone into the wind.
What. A victory. - sbroads24

If they want Rieder for more than an AHL signing who they can call up due to injuries, then they have no room for Haula.
I did not know they stated they want Rieder on the NHL team. - kingcong39
They did. They brought him here to be a specialist. They mentioned Eatkids, Reeds and Irwin by name, the latter two here for PK work.
Davidson did not make the list of mentions.

I value your opinion Lunaion.
👍
I see 1 difference between lazar and girgs.
7 goal differential last season
Gurgs 12
Lazar 5
Everyone else in the league gets paid accordingly based on goal scoring. Why is it different for girgensons?
Ralph knows how much he will use him and what to expect.
The past teams and coaches were terrible. Bylsma personally stifled gurgs. - Boss34
We all know exactly what to expect because he does it every year: 15-20 points and some strong defensive play.
If you see him as 4th liner, and I think everyone does, then why pay such a premium? Really surprised me this year. I don't think he was going to get 1.6m or a 3 year deal anywhere else. It's a lineup spot that most teams pay 700k for.

When Zemgus scores his typical 7 goals again next season and Lazar has 5, what will the difference matter anymore?
Also, players are paid on much more than simple goal scoring. - kingcong39
I have plenty of internet points and an avatar (the standard around here) I'm willing to risk.
I'll take over 7 for girgs .
I don't think anyone other than broads has been more wrong in regards to almost every post over the past few days. Congratulations 39

Relentless bashing over every move , management and ownership.
Be happy, we have a 2c and 2018 league mvp now.
I'll trust these guys and the moves across the organization this past week over ka-boo-hoo-hun er's

Yes he was Minnesota's 1C but basic common hockey knowledge would lead one to realize he was playing vs the other teams toughest line, being the 1C. Being a 2C gives him more favorable matchups - turbo044
Basic common hockey knowledge also tells you that you get less favorable zone starts and offensive opportunities like PP time and OT time, and getting on the ice in final minutes when you need a goal.

Staal is fine. That’s Adams. Low risk low reward.
The Eakin and Girgensons deals, while not qualifying Kahun are absolutely brainless moves. Whether that’s Krueger or Adams
Draft analysts think we had one of the worst drafts. Adams and Nightengale handle that.
It is what it is.
When he does something about the leagues worst goalie tandem, or the defense logjam, you know, what Botterill got criticized for daily, then we can talk |

Not only this but if we have a better season, make the playoffs and Cozens develops...why can't we extend Stahl for a year or two to take over 3C, move Eakin to 4C while Cozens assumes 2C? Its hypothetical for sure but not that far fetched. Stahl will continue to play hockey after this year. |

The funny part about Quinn is that most mock drafts had I’m going right around our pick. Give or take a couple slots
So Sabres fans are acting like we reached for EJ Manuel in the first Round all over again - Sabretooth9
Quinn and Sanderson were the two fastest and highest risers of the draft.
Thank goodness Sanderson was gone because it sure sounds like they were taking Sanderson if he was available at 8 over Quinn.
If that had happened, J Crag would've thrown the chair |

It really, really wasn’t. As their is a giant possibility he’s on his last leg and we have no bonafide option behind him.

See the problem is, you are stating opinions as if it was factual. You have zero inside access to the front office. So unfortunately what you say is baseless.
The only statements of fact are since Adams has become GM, Staal was brought in via trade, they resigned a few UFAs, and brought in Eakins, Hall, Davidson and Reider.
So honestly get over it, with what has transpired over the last few days, I dont have the slightest clue how someone can act as if he is eating cornflakes soaked in Adams' urine. |

Sure, or Hall and Eichel both finish top 5 in scoring.
Eichel is a Hart finalist or even wins the thing entirely.
Cozens is a Calder finalist if he rides on the first line or fits well with Skinner and Staal on line 2.
Dahlin has his coming out party and cements himself as the best young d-man in the NHL.
Joker solidifies himself as a solid top 4 RHD.
Skinner scores his 25 goals and 50 points.
Ullmark takes the next step.
It’s not all doom and gloom. - Pegullaville

ugh. I can't believe in 2020 we're grading drafts before the 5 year period is over.
https://bleacherreport.co...eport-card-for-every-team
If the Sabres get 2 NHLers out of this draft, considering they didn't have a 3 or 4, it will be a wild success. |

The ironic thing is, I’m not mad. You seem to be mad that I’m not cupping Adams balls Over Taylor Hall liking Ralph Krueger.
I think we have a shot to be pretty good.
Mainly because Hall is a stud, Dahlin will probably take off, Jokiharju coming into his own, Skinner bouncing back, and Cozens being legit.
You know what might prevent that? Continuing to do zilch about Risto/Montour, and getting awful goaltending again |
