Let's say they're an exciting and good team in March or April and a vaccine hits. Fans back in the stands hungry for live action and a finally good team. The players will feel it. They will feed off of it. Everyone is desperate for the Sabres to be good

I have a really good feeling about this year. I know it's been doom and gloom, but I feel like fans are just so beat down. I'm not sure people are appreciating how good that top line is going to be. Even Staal hasn't been playing with someone of Skinner's caliber recently. Dahlin is a year older. There's no reason Ullmark can't be better.

We are going to be good

Well in the stock market usually if everyone is calling for a top, the top isn’t in yet.

And when everyone stops talking about a short term top, that’s usually when the top is in.

Just like the commodities have been “basing” these last 9 years so have the Buffalo Sabres.

When everything was lost and we were talking about trading Eichel and the end is near, we strike for Hall and Staal and all of a sudden we might finally be ending our bear market and entering the next bull run of Buffalo Sabres hockey.

The bottom might be in and it’s clear skies moving forward.

Or it’s a dead cat bounce before the final sell off but I’m choosing to be optimistic

Before Hall, they were basically ready to punt this season away with a low 80 point team, and defer a bunch of big decisions until next season.

Krueger saved this offseason from being really underwhelming

I mean maybe we get Toffoli if we don’t get Hall.

They knew they had to do something, luckily we got the big fish

We have a top-10 player in Eichel and a Hall is 2 years removed from being a league MVP. Dahlin is starting to enter his prime. Staal to mentor Cozens.

It's going to be a really, really good year.

Hate to be picky after possibly having a great start to the offseason but I’d like to see us move out one of the RHD and bring in a better goalie.

Lots of time though.

I like Toffoli, but apples and Oranges. Hall is elite.

The issue is our forwards are a tire fire on defense, log jam on D, and the leagues worst goalie tandem.

Need a few more moves

I think we’ll be able to score our way out of some of the trouble this year.

A good goalie covers some warts too.

Bring in an established goaltender and we are a playoff team imo.

I think they’ll trade Miller (if there’s a market for him) but we probably won’t see any moves until after the arbitration hearings that are in late October/early November. Would love to see kuemper or similar here but my guess is they see if Hutton doesn’t suck now that he can see and if need be they’ll trade for a goalie at the deadline

I think we have the potential for a lot of things to come together at once and it to be really successful.

I also see a scenario where Hall misses his usually 10-15 games with an injury, the goalies poop the bed, Dahlin isn’t quite great yet, and Staal ages very fast

Well Eichel wills us through the first 40 games of every year anyways.

A good goalie and any semblance of secondary scoring should get us there.

Boston had a good offseason, but I think that’s the team to target in the top 3 to be better than.

Marchand and Pastrnak might miss the start of the year

Chara gone, Krug gone, might have different goalies if Rask somehow goes.

aging team. remind me of the wings when they had lidstrom, datsyuk and zetterberg all on the roster and were just good enough to make the playoffs.

Bills defence doing a good job limiting Henry so far

1 yard TD being the exception, but nonetheless

It's hilarious listening to the announcers pretend the illegal practice never happened and defend Roger Goodell. It sounds like state-run radio in North Korea
