So, a couple things about the Bills.
The fact this game was played with no discipline on the Titans, in any way shape or form is a disgrace. Yes, we stunk up the joint, but they essentially had a 2-week bye-week to prepare for us. 2 weeks of rest and film to study. We were going to lose this game - The Titans are a good team and they are coached good. But they repeatedly violated league-rules and were given a ton of time to prepare for this game. They didn't get not only a slap on the wrist, but they were actually kind of rewarded for it by the time off. Watch them run the table for the next 6 weeks - You think it's just us they studied on film, I got news for you...
. - 3rd GM's the charm
Two weeks of not being together as a team.
Two weeks of no practice.
It should have been an advantage to the Bills. |

They played poorly but:
Titans were very well rested, only had to game plan for the Bills and had an us vs the world mentality
Buffalo had to prepare for Titans and KC, incase the Titans game was cancelled. They didn't know the Titans game was officially on until 10am yesterday
Still, they played poorly and gave the Titans a lot of short fields |

Yikes. The Max Domi contract seems like a fair comparable.

Titans play old school football.
Lots of two tight end sets and lining up under center.
They hit you with the run game and it sets up the play action pass.
I was impressed with the Bills ability to limit Henry. They still had to respect the run though and were beat on crossing routes in the play action.
Would have liked to see the Bills play a little more zone coverage as AJ Brown was victimizing Norman there for much of the evening.
Titans got the turnovers, special teams contributions, and the offence was efficient.
Tannehill doesn’t hurt his team, reminds me of the Chiefs prior to Mahomes when they had Alex Smith. They aren’t fancy but get the job done. Even when they didn’t score they maintained possession and were able to flip the field.
Good teaching moment for the Bills. They need to be able to get the ground game going because they can’t get too one dimensional right off the hop. |

I'm confident they can win the AFC East, so I'm not going to fret individual games.
But they need to win a playoff game this year (yes, that's coming from a Leafs fan).
Otherwise, it's a waste of a season. |

Bills blitzed a ton more than usual and barely touched Tannehill. A lot of disappointments this year on the DL. Offseason will be interesting as no way we're resigning Murphy and Hughes probably won't be either.

Allen was exposed ..... the defense was completely run over and out classed.
Allen is now going to see a ton of deep zones and it’s going to frustrate the hell out of him. He did dink and dunk last night. But I find it hard to believe he likes that |

Even a split would be fine.
One win against Pats
Wins against:
Jets
Chargers
49ers
Broncos
Dolphins
That's 10 wins, with the possibility of more.
That puts them atop the AFC East - easy, peezy. |

Think Rhino comes in around 6 to 7 mill - Buff36
Based on contracts given out already. 5.5 seems like a good number fur next year. They could “back load” the contract like Vegas did with Pietrangelo.
Have the avv come to that 6-7 spot |

CapFriendly quotes the CB in stating that Arbitrators are required to EXCLUDE the economic conditions of the the Club and the League.
Furthermore, I read last year that current year FA signings are also outside the confines of what they are allowed to consider.. .I couldn't find that article in a quick 5 second search though.
So, no. - IonSabres
So it’s in all the players best interest to go to arbitrator |

6 drops and a tip pick in the first half

Jones has not been good so you’re correct there but I think Ullmark and Hutton were worse - Stripes77
I don't get this.. Ullmark posted a .915 % with that number being absolutely dragged to hell when on the PK. Ullmark was on the upper end of 5v5 S% and Hutton was middle of the pack. Yes, on the PK your goalie needs to be the best killer, and they weren't. Scheme and crease protection can be increased from our forwards to help this. I agree that we can upgrade, but just so everyone is aware, Ullmark and Kuemper were about the same 5v5 and Hutton outplayed Gibson 5v5.. I think a lot of this can be cleared up with much better killing from our skaters and a couple timely saves if we can get them. I'm all for upgrading btw.. They just weren't close to the worst that people keeping claiming.

We also gave up playing offence and basically played an all out defensive style to compensate for that. |

Edit: - doing some back reading.
If I may?
Can we please all get along here?
We are individuals that are not always going to agree on everything, that's what makes us all unique.
If we disagree, disagreeing like an adult goes a long long way.
We all have bad days and we would all be better off remembering that.
Respect that we are all different and our opinions "may vary".
Listen or try to understand a different view instead of attacking.
If we all practice these things, this would be a much more pleasant place to visit and talk hockey about a hockey team that we all are clearly passionate about.
I've learned some things in life in the hardest way possible this year.
Never allow your last words wherever they may be, be words that you may regret or words that you may be remembered for especially if they are words in a negative light.
I may be attacked for this post but that's okay ....
Much love to you all.

We're the only team to play a defensive style in the NHL huh? All other 30 teams play run n gun and we play sounder defense to compensate.
Argument doesn't hold water. |
