Yeah sure looks like Ralph and adams are trying to follow the "culture" thing that McBeane has done - turbo044
Look at their signings and draft picks. It's abundantly clear. No Nylanders, for miles.

Bells decision down to 3 teams: Chiefs, Miami or BUFFALO
I predict Miami, but, we're in on it. We make sense in that we're a good team (better than Miami) and he'd have more carries with us than KC. |

Bills one of 3 teams left for Bell to choose today..... If a 1 year, low money deal, I am good. Singletary is an awesome change up back, Moss, when healthy, will help too. |

Isn’t that rookie RB in Miami doing great this year? Why put Bell ahead of him? |

if bell signs we'd probably put Moss on IR to create roster room and let him heal |

JBB continues to work to rectify Tampa's Cap situation...needing to clear space, estimated at about $10m, to resign Sergachev, Cirelli, and Cernak...Nothing new there.
As estimated by The Athletic..
- Sergachev: Three years, $5.25 million AAV
- Cirelli: Two years, $3.7 million AAV
- Cernak: Two years, $2.4 million AAV
K2 should Offer Sheet Cirelli at $4.3m, then Cernak at $3.5m to chew up as much space as possible. Then go for the kill on Sergachev.
Won't happen, but fun to think about squeezing your divisional competition...force them to make another unwanted move. - IonSabres
I dont believe we will ever see a successful offersheet again. At least not until the rules are completely rewritten. |

it's the living in Miami thing. It probably comes down to money - Buffalo is the best opportunity, miami may be willing to pay the most?? |

I can't believe no one wants to help Tampa Bay by taking on one of their bloated contracts for middle 6 forwards. Color me stunned.

I beg to differ. The owners are hell-bent on colluding to keep the cheap RFA wages down during the pandemic. The last thing they want now is their cheapest source of high-end talent to explode in price. Not to mention that draft murrancy is itself another form of potential cheap labor. |

Same thing with LV and MAF. VAN helped them with Schmidt though |

I think Bell has an interesting problem .....
I am going to assume he signs with the Chiefs because he has the best chance to win a super bowl. BUT with the Chiefs hes sharing carries with CEH and Williams. So that is a pretty busy backfield.
His best opportunity to get in some decent work and volume carries wise would be the bills.
Singletary .... if you want to say it or not, has not been great.

They will find a suitor .... Tampa just needs to pay up. Vegas, Toronto, Blackhawks in the past, Penguins, etc. ALLLLL have done it for years.
Heck, the Red Wings took Marc Staal from the rangers. Hes terrible.

Schmidt's a good defenseman and they got him for virtually free. Now if they're giving away Stamkos for a 2nd round pick, clear the (frank)ing decks. Or Hedman for 1st. Or Cernak for a 4th. LFG.

Why do the Bills want to deal with his crap, though? He's an issue, no matter where he plays. |

Chan gailey coached team ? On offense?
Fitz - spiller - stevie Johnson
Miami ?
Fitz - bell - parker
Seems like a good fit, including a young nfl player enjoying miami over buffalo.
Bell doesnt care about " winning" first, at least it strikes me that way |

Someone probably will. But Tampa's picks are low and they just won the cup. I think teams are less inclined to assist them, without a hell of a sweetener.

I never understood this tinfoil hat line of thinking when it came to RFA's. It's really not that complicated. In order to successfully poach an RFA, you have to pay him well above market value, otherwise you're simply doing another team's negotiating work for them. See Montreal and Sebastian Aho. In addition to overpaying the guy, you also have to give up additional assets (i.e. draft capital) to get him. The reason you don't see very many offer sheets is that it takes poor asset management in order to successfully land a free agent. It's not because of some super-secret illuminati type conspiracy among owners and general managers. |

the jets suck, their o line sucks
he stunk because they stunk
remember how diggs was a problem with the vikings?
I don't see diggs being a problem as a bill

If he signs in Miami for an exorbitant amount, then I'll believe this. He'll also preach "this team is on the rise"
Him signing with the Jets was definitely highest bidder bullpoop. |

He got paid $28+ mil for what amounts to a year of football.
For the current season it shouldn’t be about the money but the money he can make past this year if he puts up solid numbers.
He’s honestly a game changer for this offense if signed.
The Bills are finally at the point of not needing to just sign “character” guys. |
