throw an extra mil to show bell the bills want him
the jets suck, their o line sucks
he stunk because they stunk
remember how diggs was a problem with the vikings?
I don't see diggs being a problem as a bill - homiedclown
To be fair, Diggs has been here 5 games, and the team has been ridiculously successful with him so far up until the other day. Let's see what he does later this year, or next year, when the team is in a slump. I'm not saying he will go off the rails, but the sample size is too small, and he hasn't had any reason to so far.

Why do the Bills want to deal with his crap, though? He's an issue, no matter where he plays. - Powerslave
I really do think Adam Gase sucks as a person and coach. Tannehill, Robby Anderson, and a few other jets MAGICALLY get better once they leave Gase and his system.
Plus remember how diggs was going to be a problem? Sometimes players like diggs or bell just need some love.

Schmidt's a good defenseman and they got him for virtually free. Now if they're giving away Stamkos for a 2nd round pick, clear the (frank)ing decks. Or Hedman for 1st. Or Cernak for a 4th. LFG. - TheSabresTaco
Yep he's a good defenseman. BUT a good defenseman that has a cap hit of $5.6m. That's a lot of $$ in this environment |

If he signs in Miami for an exorbitant amount, then I'll believe this. He'll also preach "this team is on the rise"
Him signing with the Jets was definitely highest bidder bullpoop. - TheSabresTaco
Schopp had said something yesterday along the lines of he's still going to get paid his bonus. The Jets are on the hook for the difference between what he previously made, and what another team is giving him. I never heard that before, but I found it interesting. No matter where he goes, Bell is still going to get paid.

The problem in Minnesota was Diggs not liking Cousins.
I don’t necessarily think the Vikings had a problem with Diggs. |

I mean losing several starters on defence doesn’t help either. |

I agree, but let's say they lose to the Chiefs, beat the Jets, and then lose to New England and Seattle and end up 5-4 in that span. I wonder if he doesn't get more vocal.
That being said, I do believe the Bills have a system in place that a guy like Bell could still thrive here. My concern is more of his ability to stay healthy than his ego. |

Also, if Bell were to sign in Kansas City or Buffalo, I doubt he plays Monday Night. |

Minnesota has a lot of bigger problems than losing Diggs. The guy who replaced Diggs (Jefferson) has been outstanding. They beat Seattle if thye comvert the 4th and 1 at the seattle 5 with 2 mins left. They could have also kicked the FG there and went up 8. They went for the kill (I don't blame them) and they lost. Seattle converted a 4th and 20 on the ensuing drive and a 4th and 7 at the 7 on the last play of the game. |

I'm literally 50/50 if Bell would be an addition or subtraction for this current Bills "team".
I emphasize the word "team". |

Van did help them, but really helped themselves as well. |

He probably won't with covid protocals, BUT RB is the easiest thing to transition from goign from team to team. I love the idea of him catching balls out of the backfield and he's a trememdous pass protector too for a RB, believe it or not. I still think he picks Miami |

Well are Oline hasn't exactly been stellar either. Should help though getting Feliciano back. |

I never understood this tinfoil hat line of thinking when it came to RFA's. It's really not that complicated. In order to successfully poach an RFA, you have to pay him well above market value, otherwise you're simply doing another team's negotiating work for them. See Montreal and Sebastian Aho. In addition to overpaying the guy, you also have to give up additional assets (i.e. draft capital) to get him. The reason you don't see very many offer sheets is that it takes poor asset management in order to successfully land a free agent. It's not because of some super-secret illuminati type conspiracy among owners and general managers. - buffalofan19
That's my entire point. The rules are written so that they don't happen. And the reason behind that is two-fold: to keep labor prices down and to allow undesirable markets to retain good players more easily.
It definitely is collusion and conspiracy on the part of the owners that is baked into the CBA |

Think we should be worrying about adding to are defense, not offense. Just my thoughts. |

Every major sports league has this in some form or another. Maybe the compensation isn't always as high, but you pretty much have to pay well above market value to get a guy like that in any sport.

Bell in this offense as a pass catcher against other teams LBs would be deadly...
That being said the Bills still need help and major help on the other side of the football. Not having to trade any assets to get Bell would be a plus and it’s not like he is going to eat into the cap a ton.
Sign Bell score 35 a game and then go trade for a DE and sign a big body gap eater up front...

Does anyone know if Feliciano counts against the cap being on IR, cause if he doesn't, he will eat up what's left in cap space when they activate him. |

As big as Diggs though, who could be trying to recruit him? |
