So I’d imagine there’s a lot more faith in him than a rookie GM with no experience

If nothing spectacular (or hell, even marginal) happens with the team today, I'll just have to wait for the games to be played - who knows, maybe the current lineup gels and they make the playoffs. That's the attitude I'll take - and I plan on keeping that attitude by not visiting here so much (or at all). Coming in here just drags me down. Does the team deserve the negativity ? Probably. But reading post after post after post of nothing but anger and disappointment just gets to me. Again, I'm going to see how the season plays out. Nothing more we can do about it as fans. Like I said, maybe the current lineup plays well ? That's what I'm hoping for - if nothing substantial happens from now until the season starting (IF the season even starts, that is !).

Also, I really think playing a vision-impaired goalie last season had a lot to do with us missing the playoffs. We weren't TOO horrible last year. A healthy Hutton probably would have gotten us to the playoffs.
