Why is Bret Gardener and Arron Hicks on this team ? along with Tanaka. They refuse to use Clint Fraser for what reason I don't know.

Fraser’s d was a liability although I know he has improved. Gardi is a solid vet that still produces and is great defensively. Hicks is streaky on o. Solid on d. I’m glad with injuries that Fraser got some playing time this year. He’s part of the core moving forward. As for pitching, injuries to Paxson and Sevy were huge. And they still played well without them. You need at least 3 solid starters in the playoffs.

Repeatedly batting Hicks third is inexcusable. Gardner had a great career but they should have cut bait halfway through the season when it was clear he was done.
