If you were a FA and had multiple teams bidding for you where would you go? Buffalo, on most players' Do not trade list. Like Winnipeg, the Sabres have to get better through trades and the draft. Winnipeg even has the benefit of having some players from Manitoba so maybe some might want to go back home. Buffalo, they might get lucky and overpay and land someone.

I love the idea but he's got a 10team no trade clause. Can't help but think buffalo is on list.

Wings- Staal, Ryan, Merril

Heres how I see the division this coming season:

Tampa-still the best but depth hurt by cap crunch
Boston- aging, but still a solid top 3 team
Toronto-Top heavy team but good enough to make it
Montreal- Right there with TO, lacking star power up front
Florida- have not gotten any better. rebuilding teams behind them will surpass them soon
Ottawa- Rebuilding- Lottery Team
BUF- Trying to compete - Lottery Team
DET- Rebuilding, worst team in hockey, should start to show improvement in a season or two.
