So $6.6m for girgs, 2.8m for Larry. Something doesn’t exactly add up? - turbo044
If I'm Sam's agent I'm calling Adam's now to try to strike at deal for 8 x $9.
Tell him if not, looks like Arb to me . |

So they didn’t want Larsson but wanted to give Girgensons $800K more.

Well, 1.4 mil with the rest of the league seeing the fancy stats that you are interpreting. What does that tell you?

So outside of maybe goalies, have any UFAs that we would want the Sabres to pursue actually signed yet?
I haven't been following the UFA trackers closely at all, but it seems like very, very few UFAs that would move the needle (for anyone) have signed deals yet. - JetpackJesus
Craig Smith and Jon Merrill to name 2 to start.
Speaking of Craig Smith, below is what a quality top looks like:

What I’ve been saying for months.
Their intellectual ability is vastly overrated.
Like ffs Jack Johnson got another contract and he should have been out of the league 6 years ago.
Oilers need defence and sign a d-man whom cannot defend. Watch Barrie put up 60 points this head strike it big then get bought out by his next team within 2 years.
There are very few GM’s that know wtf they are actually doing in the NHL.

And the analytics and pro scouts, and coaches they consult with. The best league in the world is just some clusterf*ck and a few guys on hockeybuzz who couldn't get Larry out of Buffalo fast enough before last year know more. Gotcha.

Carolina, Boston, and Colorado are the three teams that are rumoured to heavily use analytics in their decision making.

I've read this multiple times and I totally agree: Have the Sabres pay me $1M per year with my only job being to tell them no on decisions they're thinking about making.
Avoiding the bad decisions would save them 10 times my salary. |

Eichel. Eichel would much rather have the better player at a better contract. Eichel sees the poop show that is going on and I’ll bet he cares |

Except mine has the possibility of accomplishing something
The Sabres aren’t reading these posts,
and wouldn’t alter their decision making even if they were

Larsson wanted to experience the dry heat in Arizona over the experience in Buffalo even for more money no doubt. He no doubt told his agent to get him out of here no matter what. - GilPerreault11

It's real. Larrson wasnt happy here. Why pay him any amount of money to stay?
Let me guess, kagm is now 1/6 ?

Nothing says "self inflated worth" more than this post.
We would have kahun at 3.5 million or more a year, 3 days ago. 😀
