Explain how wpeg fans can possibly hate him, in 8 games he had a goal and 4 assists. Not a bad total - that’s a lot of built up hate for only 8 games.

Eichel still has alot of time on his contract and the sabres won't trade him because they know they don't have to and he doesn't have much power there.

Maybe a year before he becomes a UFA if it's clear he won't sign but until then he can pout and whatnot but where's that going to get him

thanks. you guys (i say generally), crack me up with the doom and gloom about the team. i know ownership is bad and the team sucks now but, its not even the team in hockey let a lone the division.

clear to me the losing has gotten to a lot of people and its result in squabbling over 3rd/4th line players/ depth players. thats my psycho-analysis of the the current situation anyway.

I disagree. Sure, you can throw the analytics here for all to see, and they look bad, but I think Eakin passes the eye test for me...always liked his game. Sobotka though ? Failed the eye test for me - every shift I saw of Vlad's was horrible, just awful out on the ice. I would MUCH rather watch Eakin in a Sabres uniform than Sobotka.
