How confident are you on him visiting? Has a source told you he is or are you just going on the flight schedule?
Is someone in Canada even allowed to come to the US anyway?? Wouldn’t he have to quarantine for 14 days when going back to Canada? I want to believe you but I don’t see this being realistic?? - turbo044
Thats one of 3 jets that I have posted in the past for vesey, Beane,
Will see what happens but he's the only player from kingston |

Okay still think there are serious Covid restrictions on travel from Canada to the us. Pietroangelo is traveling to Vegas today,
Where’s he flying in from? Is he Canadian or American? |

He is Canadian.
However he has been residing in St.Louis for the last decade so I’m assuming he was located there |

I can see it from both sides. Murray actually shot his shot, Botterill was terrified to, both were spectacular failures. What's worse is debatable. Reckless or feckless. - Wetbandit1
Looking back, gmtm may not have assembled a "team" , but certainly proved to have an eye for nhl talent.

This post is for everyone freaking out .........
Jesper Fast - Good analytics and everyone wanted him. This past year, 29 points and the year prior in a full season ........ 20 points.
Craig Smith - Good analytics and everyone against wanted. This past year, 31 points!! The prior year, a MASSSSIVE 20 point season.
Cody Eatkin - 15 points in 49 games this past year. Once he was traded to the Jets and given proper playing time. He has 5 points in 8 games and a plus 6. His prior season he had 41 points.
I would love to see the analytics break of Eakins games with the Jets and what line he was on.
My overall point is that everyone is female dogging EVERY single move we made. We are complaining about 20- 30 point players.
Pump the brakes on these players.......

Jesper fast at $2M is better than Girgensons at $2.2M
Craig Smith drives offence at one of the highest rates in the NHL at 5V5. He doesn’t do much on the PP though hence the reason why he would only get 30-40 points. However Skinner-Staal-Smith line would have been a great 2nd line.
We signed Cody Eakin as a 3C however he has received 56% o-zone starts and has negative impacts across the board. If we expect him to shut down other teams top lines we are in for a treat.

after sleeping on the girgens/larsson situation
maybe gus is a much better practice player and that is why they rewarded him the 3 year contract
just a thought - homiedclown
Maybe he's a good NHL 4th line players?
Maybe He outplayed his last contract with 12 goals?
Maybe he works with the youth at practice and in the lockerroom?
The guy is a buffalo guy. Blue collar guy.
I know it's an unpopular opinion but, i like his work ethic, and i think we are finally going to see a physical, try hard team?
His role, isn't to score , but he was 5th in goals last year.
Why not give I'm 2.2 ?
Skins at 9 is looking disgusting

And the season prior to that in Vegas, he had 27 points.
The only point I'll make is if you're going to bring in low cost bottom six players, shouldn't they have more of an impact on the game than just points?
It seems relevant for a guy like Eakin when his points production is up and down, no?
You'd prefer a guy you know will always make a positive impact in other ways if the points aren't happening? |

The killer for me was the little poopty trades acquiring players like sheary with term that wasted our cap.
Murray at least brought in some stars.
The joker trade was amazing, the skinner trade is a moot point with the overpayment of the contract.
So idk, sadly I miss Darcy. |

Yea, I would've liked Smith & Fast too, but neither of them would've signed those contracts with us. We'd probably have to pay Craig Smith 5M+ to come here over Boston. |

From what I heard, they are trying to add some high end talent, and back fill the rest with low cost contacts.
The analytic approach seems to be a myth.
Hall = Buffalo is still alive
2 years 15.75 million
The market is going to be really slow for long term free agents. The pandemic is gonna scare management from long term guys, in my opinion

Eakin centered Ehlers and Laine during his short time with Winnipeg. Makes sense that he'd have 4 assists playing with those two. |

Oh okay. I did not know that.
I would be pretty shocked and in awe if we landed Hall.
Anyone saying we dont need him because he is a LW is nuts.
Hall
Skinner
Olofsson
in the top 9 would be crazy, or flip one to the RW. Someone has to be comfortable playing the wing off hand. |

Again, you are complaining about Girgs making 200 K more. That is a pathetic argument. 200,000 I mean come on. That is petty. Girgensons is always so your swiss army knife. He can play center and wing. And if you have injuries for a short period of time play up in the line up.
Craig smith drove in 31 points ...... he didnt drive in 50 or 60 points.
See ... stop making these analytics guys brain wash you into thinking they are something they arent.
I believe in analytics too .... but female dogging about a 20-30 points players is a waste of time.
Eakins ... tell me who he played with on the Jets and how he went 5 points in 8 games and a plus 6. vs on vegas 41 games 10 points -6.
Analytics dont tell the whole story.
Again, you are complaining about a 20 - 30 point player. Craig Smith IS / has been a 3rd liner his entire career.
